GRIDIRON GUARANTEE - Week 10
« on: Nov 10th, 2006, 7:56am »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

Gridiron Guarantee is a weekly feature where you get to show off your football knowledge and make a bold prediction concerning any game or player for the coming weekend.

The prediction can be game-related, fantasy-specific, or personal.

Make a bold prediction. Don't just say The Arizona Cardinals will pay their respects to Pat Tillman by erecting a statue in his likeness. That's too easy. Predict something that will have everyone in awe when it actually happens. For example, Pat Tillman's statue will be inserted into the Cards' starting lineup and lead the team in tackles this weekend against the Cowboys. Then come back here on Monday or Tuesday and give us all the "I told you so"s. If you're wrong, who will ever remember?

The Giants beat the Bears 21-13 on the strength of DE Mathias Kiwanuka's 2 sacks and forced fumble of Rex Grossman.

The Bears beat the Giants after losing Rex Grossman for the season due to DE Mathias Kiwanuka's two sacks, with Brian Griese and Kyle Orten splitting time at QB and each scoring a passing TD.  (T. Jones gets the rest of the scoring, of course.)

The Vikings will win with a last second field goal.
To chicken to predict the score.

Jeffy will love this one...

Mike Bell will score a MINIMUM of 30 fantasy points today, whether it's by way of three touchdowns and 120 yards or 180 yards and two touchdowns... or somewhere in between... or beyond!!!

Actually, I've heard that Mike Bell will not start and might even be inactive this week. (According to the Denver Post...)

Big Ben will throw 2 interceptions before being benched in favor of Maddox.  Maddox will then rally the Steelers to a win over the Saints.
