GRIDIRON GUARANTEE - Week 12
« on: Nov 23rd, 2006, 4:12am »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

Gridiron Guarantee is a weekly feature where you get to show off your football knowledge and make a bold prediction concerning any game or player for the coming weekend.

The prediction can be game-related, fantasy-specific, or personal.

Make a bold prediction. Don't just say LaDainian Tomlinson will score 3 or more TDs this Sunday. That's too easy. Predict something that will have everyone in awe when it actually happens. For example, LaDainian Tomlinson will score more TDs this Sunday than the Texans, Raiders, Jets, Titans, and Redskins (combined!). Then come back here on Monday or Tuesday and give us all the "I told you so"s. If you're wrong, who will ever remember?

After watching Tony Romo throw 5 TDs on Turkey Day, three more QBs (Carson Palmer, Matt Hasselbeck,  and Peyton Manning) decide they'll do the same on Sunday.

Laverneous Coles will break out for 100+ yards and 2 TDs today after basically being shut out the last 5 games.

AND

Jason Campbell will rally the Redskins to a come from behind victory in the 4th quarter.  His stats will not be too impressive, however, the word "poised" will be used 15 times during game in describing his performance.

Alright, I missed it by 1 Coles TD.  Not too bad!!!!

And if you watched the game, the drool heaped on Jason Campbell was disgusting.  All the cliches were used....
