Is this the funniest thing you've ever heard?  Would there be anything more hilarious than a punter and a kicker brawling in the end zone?

Is hairpulling, biting and kicking allowed when kickers and punters fight?

Don't know if anybody here watches Friends or not, but caught an episode last night where the Anniston character and her sister get into a catfight. Lots of leaning away and slapping each other's arms. Pretty much see this one the same way.

Now. Louie Aguiar, that's a whole different story. He kinda had that linebacker thing that so many say Favre has. Seen Louie throw some pretty good football hits!

Who was the punter for San Diego, Bennett??, that was a rugby player?  I wouldn't mess with him.

This seemed kicker related enough to go here.

Lost a lot of respect for Morten Andersen today. It's another one of those "didn't count so it doesn't matter" kinda things. KC kick's off, Seattle return man has two players to beat, one of them is Mort. Mort actually pulls up and does nothing as the guy runs right by. Now, I don't expect perfect form tackling of kickers, but come on! Throw yourself at their feet or something! At least LOOK like you're trying. Sheesh! Rant over.

Oh, they did nullify the td on a hold call, but it was not a case where the refs were whistling the play dead. Focker pulled up to avoid  makeing contact with a guy scoring a frickin td! Rant really over

That's why I love David Akers.  The guy actually looks to make tackles even though he is about 5-8 and 150 lbs.  And he is a damn good tackler to boot.  (Even though I am 6'1" and 250, he's another kicker I probably wouldn't mess with.  He's a martial arts officianado... it helps him with the mental aspect of the game - very important for a kicker.)
