Here's the report from ESPN:

http://espn.go.com/nfl/news/2003/0324/1528729.html.

Not much to be said!  I hope and think they are doing the right thing.  Baseball did cancel their opening series in Japan.  I don't know.  Any thoughts?

As long as they refuse to play in France, they should continue.

I think that sports is an important diversion, not only for us, but also for the troops and families of troops, during wartime.

What would be the point of cancelling NFL Europe? Not like anyone watches that anyways....   Trust me, I have family and friends in Spain, some currently iving in Barcelona... they had absolutely no clue that there was an NFL team called the Barcelona Dragons...

I don't blame them... the NFL Europe is just as boring as the NBDL of the NBA... Blah...

Well, we are on the other side of it all now.  I know it was hard for you all to contain your excitement, but as it currently reads at the top of "The REAL Feed":  Galaxy douses Fire in NFL Europe's World Bowl, or as I am going to put it, "Frankfurt 'Rhein's' Champion in World Bowl", or "Frankfurt 'Rheins' on Fire's Parade to World Bowl Glory"!
