Hey guys, I just thought I'd take the time out to let you in on a little about me. I posted an ad for my league on another section of your forums and figured you'd be more interested if you knew a little more about me (actually I pretty much stole the words out of a mod's mouth who told me to do this haha). Well, my name is Jon Cirrinone. I'm located in Maine of the U.S. I grew up in Philly and my team is the Eagles to the heart but because of all the Pats fans in New England, I am a fan of them as well. I'm a die-hard fanatasy football FANATIC, and I look forward to frequent posts here and running my league beyond expectations. I'm a new member of the FFLA (as of I believe, last night haha) and I look forward to speaking with many of you. Glad to be aboard. - Jon

Jon, WELCOME! I am glad to see you part of the family here on "the Gridiron"! BUT, you are jumpin' the gun a little bit there regarding the FFLA. Please (re-)read those e-mails I sent you. Your admittance is still, well, pending, and if you are approved (about which I have a good feeling), there are things you will need to do like pronto, like, e.g., get all of the other FFLA leagues' logos/links up on your site as we will do yours. I'll be in touch by e-mail regarding all this. Later!

| As a die hard Eagles fan, the Eagles scare me!! Their total lack of any improvement in the team, their being so close for the last two years sets them up for a hard fall. And finally, I am scared to death of their schedule! It is TOUGH. (rated hardest in the league based on winning %). The only good news is that the rest of the NFC East teams don't exactly have a cake walk with their schedule either. Thank God the NFL made schedules with equality for divisional teams. I see the Eagles barely winning the division. But I don;t see any wild card teams coming out of the East. So if the Eagles don't win it, i think they are screwed.

Yeah the Eagles have definately not done anything but lose this offseason. However, I think Donovan remains strong and HOPEFULLY Buckhalter bounces back and has a nice season-- I'm hoping for 1,300 yards. Staley can work if they feed him the ball enough, but Reid's made it clear Buckhalter is pretty much his man. I'm not sure, the Eagles need a back to reach at least 1,300 yards though and either a nice addition WR in the draft or Thrash + Pinkston to step up. Their D will remain good I think (or hope at least), as much as you'd like to disagree. Barber was a HUGE loss in my opinion, because I think he was one of the best up-and-coming LB's in the game. Hugh Douglas is a significant loss, but he's replaceable on the field- off the field is where he provided the best leadership. Their DB's will remain the best unit in the NFL. Not sure, just my opinion. The Giants WILL provide a nice run in the division but I think Philly can pull it off. The Redskins new additions will just not be able to mend together and they'll look like 2000 (I BELIEVE that's the year-- not positive though) all over again, where they added HUGE contracts to their payroll. The Cowboys will improve greatly under Parcells but I say only 8-8. My hope is that the Eagles and Pats both make it to the big game (although I wouldn't know who to root for haha). Eagles were one game away 2 years ago when the Pats won it. Jon --- was so mad when they let Chad Lewis run it on the last play *grrr*

Yessir, dedicated and enthusiastic would be two fitting words. However, I think we can safely say that about every one of us that visits this site during the offseason, no? Anyone who cares enough for their team to check out the scoop daily (or multiple times per day, as I can say... SADLY, I'm an addict, get me help haha) is dedicated and enthusiastic. But wow, I've gotten a LOT of Eagle fan response. I like it. Here's the place to go for post-draft and post-game talk, for sure. Would just like to say thanks to all that welcomed me, was nice of you to take the time out of your day for it. I think we'll get along great, very nice community is around these parts.
