Yeah, the weird part is that they're still not sure it was suicide... maybe just a horrible accident.  There were absolutely NO signs that it might be a suicide.

Now the real question... why the hell did Ray Sherman have a loaded handgun that was accessible to his son?

Hmmmm...  On my news here, I heard that it was ruled a suicide and not an accident because that is the direction the evidence pointed in.  That was the evening edition of "ABC Eyewitness News - New York" about two days ago, the evening of the day the story broke.

It has been officially ruled a suicide, but sources close to the situation seem to feel that is unlikely... one, of a few similar sources, gleaned from the Gridiron Newsstand.

Generally, when there is a suicide, there is a reason, yet no one has been able to come up with one.  No suicide note, no problems at home or school, well-liked kid who showed no signs of distress.

Obviously I don't know all the facts... it just seems weird.

I agree.  I think he was probably just playing around and pretending....then....surprise.  Sucks.  That is why I am against owning guns IF you have kids.  I think the parents are at fault if a gun is in the house.  But anyways....to serious a topic for me to ramble about on a fantasyfootballer board.
