Thanks for the thoughts, guys. Between doctor's visits, trying to get everything done at work before all medical hell hits, and drafting in three different FF leagues, it's been hard to come by and contribute as much as I have in the past. I have the same problem on the other message boards I frequent as well. Anyways, I didn't even know that this thread existed until Steg e-mailed me. Let me give you guys a full update... About a couple of months ago, my wife had a Grand Mal seizure in the middle of the night. We went in to see a neurologist, who initially diagnosed her with epilepsy and prescribed some anti-seizure medicine. He then scheduled an MRI for a month later, since he didn't think the problem was serious, but wanted to rule out anything bad. We got the MRI a month later, and there was that "anything bad" that he was worried about. She has a growth in her brain that is 2 cm in diameter in her left temporal lobe. We have seen four neurosurgeons so far, and no one knows what it is - it could be cancer, it could be benign, or it could be some sort of vascular problem. Either way, ALL doctors have recommended removing it and, after it is removed, they will be able to tell definitely what it is. My wife goes into surgery on Tuesday to have it removed. We have one of the best doctors in the country performing the surgery...he actually specializes in this part of the brain. One blessing that has come from all of this is that we live in Houston, and almost all of the top neurosurgeons and cancer specialists live here. Anyways, that is it. I'll be around for the rest of the weekend, but won't be able to check in until sometime late next week, after the surgery is done and my wife comes home from the hospital. And even then life will be a little bit of hell for us as she recovers. Again, thanks for the well wishes and keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We'll need all the help we can get. Jetdoc
