Are you ready?

As I'm typing this, we're 6 hours away from the first NFL football game of the 2003 season.  The Yucs and the Jest lace 'em up in Tokyo.

The Deuce (ESPN, not McAllister) is airing it live at 5:00 AM EDT.  Anyone going to catch this game live?  (ESPN also is re-running the game at 8:00 PM EDT tomorrow night.)

Now the game I'm really looking forward to is the Chiefs/Packers game on Monday night.  Priest is going to play.  Should be exciting!

OK, so the Bucs-Jets game is done and what have we learned?  We learned that Curtis Conway can get open deep if he pushes off on the defender and doesn't get flagged for it.

-------------

Now for the one everyone's been waiting for... Chiefs-Packers tonite.  We'll get to see Priest Holmes for the first time since the hip injury last season.  I'm stoked!

I am pretty curious about tonight.  I hope the Chiefs receive the kick off so I can watch Priest run a few times.  Then, they will take him out and I can watch something else.

I believe I heard somewhere that Vermeil would keep in all his starters for the entire 1st quarter. If Priest is an exception to this, I do not know but we shall see... should be exciting. For some reason, I'm looking forward to seeing Akili Smith throw the ball and also Javon Walker play with the absence of both Driver and Ferguson tonight.

Is there anything else on worth watching?  Even a preseason game between the Bengals and the Texans is better than 99.9% of anything else they put on TV.

I usually find something.  I enjoy the history channel, TLC, discovery, etc....

But I do get bored with preseason.  I hate watching pathetic players....

I have to basically concur here.  Preseason ball is quite a tease... !  I get very impatient with the games!  But, it does indicate that we are almost there!
