NFL schedule to 18 games?

Yes...that is right.  The NFL is going to study whether adding two more REGULAR SEASON games is feasible.  The would shorten the preseason!!  
 
This would extend the reagular season to 19  WEEKS.  MORE FANTASY FOOTBALL!!!!  If I had a say, I'd add another  bye week to make it even longer!

Thank you very much for the post, DD!  This will DEFINITELY be an IMPORTANT NFL topic in the ensuing months.  However, overall, and I know this is a very close call, this is a general NFL topic first and foremost that they have to hash out before it even becomes a (substantive) fantasy football issue (for discussion), so it is a little bit more suitable to "the Sidelines" (at this point in time).  As such, it will be moved there.  Thank you for your anticipated understanding and future compliance.

As an ex-season ticket holder.  I agree whole hartedly that the preseason should be shortened and the reg. season lengthened.
I was always so mad having either to watch or eat the 2 home games of preseason that you are forced to buy. It always seemd as if I were just throwing away 250 bucks.
Nothing drives me to faster than throwing away money.
