Heres my list of canidates for Rush's old job.
You have to go backwards because its " Countdown"

No# 5  Pee Wee Herman
Irvin needs someone to relate to

No# 4  The reverand Jessie Jackson
This way we can insure racial harmony.

No#3   Brittney Spears
She will make everyone seem less full of themselves

No#2   Any gay fella
This way ESPN can be an EO Insulter

No#1  ME !
I'm usually really insiteful after 6 beers at 10:30 am.
Plus the health benifits are probably good at ESPN.

I used to love the show when it was Berman, Jackson, Sharpe, and Mort.

I can't stand Michael Irvin (no, it's not just because I'm an Eagles fan) and Steve Young is a bit too pretentious for me.

Here's the team I'd love to see:

Chris Berman, Tom Jackson, Howie Long, Boomer Esiason, and Chris Mortensen.

That was definitely their best lineup.  I'm looking forward to seeing the NFL Network and how well Sterling does on their keynote show.

Here's my 5:

#5 - Ahhhhnoold - Why not?  He's doing everything else!
#4 - Jesse "The Body" Ventura - Yes, bring back The Body!  And have him piledrive Irvin in one of those stupid breakout sessions where 5 over the hill and/or fat men try to show how a play happens on the field
#3 - Hillary - She's up for any gig where you don't need to be qualified, or even have been a football fan (read "lived in NY") to apply.
#2 - Bill - Looks good on TV, and can regale us with intern stories between Irvin's ramblings.
#1 - Sean Hannity - Smarter and fairer than Rush, and needs the platform to "Hannitize" the world!

3 straight underperforming seasons, one nitwit head coach, 2 problem child WRs, 1 collosal trade bungle....but a wild boat party with booze and hookers!!!????? Priceless.
