Just an observation on my part, but it looked like DEN was having a TON of success throwing to me. Sharpe was open over the middle all night it seemed, and Lelie seemed to be able to get open if needed too. Still, I have to agree with you guys, when running the ball is successful, you've GOT to stick with it. The same $H!T cost the Vikes this week too.

| Kanell was 16 of 35 for 163 yards... average at best. Couple that with the fact that they ran the same damn play that they had been running all night and it never had a chance. The defender was all over it. Portis had averaged over 4 yards per carry and in that situation, they should have run the ball 3 straight times. At worst, it would have forced NE to use all of their timeouts and made it a bit tougher for them down the stretch. As it was NE had plenty of time and we all know the final result.

| You had to look real close, but when the line judge tosses the ball at the sidelines, that guy who bobbles it and drops it....THAT'S ME! :0) Yeah... I was open all night. 38 rec. 18 yds, no TDs.
