Kubiak needs to be fired

I don't get DEN sometimes. Especially tonight in the 3rd quarter. They run the ball 6 straight times for 3 1st downs..can't be stopped to put the game away. Then for some crazy reason they pass 3 straight times. I don't get it ???
I don't think Kannell hurt the team. I think Kubiak is holding down the value of all DEN players FF wise.

I was so pissed off last night that I couldn't sleep. It's not that I had anticipated winning the game, but to give it away like that really stung. I don't pretend to know the first thing about being an offensive coordinator, but I can't believe we passed the ball so many times down the stretch... and it's not like we were mixing it up... we ran the same damn plays all night! Portis was getting the yardage and we should have stuck with him, period. I won't even talk about our pass defense...

Just an observation on my part, but it looked like DEN was having a TON of success throwing to me.  Sharpe was open over the middle all night it seemed, and Lelie seemed to be able to get open if needed too.

Still, I have to agree with you guys, when running the ball is successful, you've GOT to stick with it.  The same $H!T cost the Vikes this week too.

I DIGRESS...
This topic is a bit more suitable for "the Sidelines".  As such, it will be moved there.  Thank you for your anticipated understanding and future compliance.

I watched most of the game... which one were you?  I didn't see any Denver players with captainpurple on the back of their jerseys.

Kanell was 16 of 35 for 163 yards... average at best. Couple that with the fact that they ran the same damn play that they had been running all night and it never had a chance. The defender was all over it. Portis had averaged over 4 yards per carry and in that situation, they should have run the ball 3 straight times. At worst, it would have forced NE to use all of their timeouts and made it a bit tougher for them down the stretch. As it was NE had plenty of time and we all know the final result.

You had to look real close, but when the line judge tosses the ball at the sidelines, that guy who bobbles it and drops it....THAT'S ME!  :0)

Yeah... I was open all night.  38 rec. 18 yds, no TDs.
