Other coaches to lose their jobs, or on the HOT SEAT, I think are as follows. Mai-Wanny----gone for sure N.O.-Haslett---should be fired, but could last 1 more year ATL-Reeves-Already FIRED SEA-Holmgren--will get 1 more year NYG-Fassel--2 yrs ago in Superbowl...what have you done for me lately???--GONE ARIZ-Mcginnis--GONE Maybe Buffalo coach too. I dounbt this. The know they are young and rebuilding. Just in: under the new rules Atlanta will be fined $500,000.00 for not interviewing a minority head caoch to fill in for Reeves for the final 3 games of the year. The gave that job to Wade (overrated) Phillips.

| Interesting thoughts... here's my take on the NFL Coaching fraternity and the percent chance that they return to the same position in the 2004 season. NFC: Arizona - Dave McGinnis - 10% - Has been in the basement for too long despite player loyalty. Atlanta - Dan Reeves - GONE - Made a mistake when he criticized Vick's slow return from injury. Carolina - John Fox - 100% - Has had an excellent season. Chicago - Dick Jauron - 50% - Just isn't getting it done, though late surge could help him. Dallas - Bill Parcells - 100% - Could be Coach of the Year. He'll leave when he wants to. Detroit - Steve Mariucci - 100% - Certainly gets more than one year. Green Bay - Mike Sherman - 90% - Packers are still a contender. They need some more players. Minnesota - Mike Tice - 90% - Coach brought team together, though mid-season collapse hurts. New Orleans - Jim Haslett - 35% - Haslett hasn't been able to get team over hump, despite talent. New York - Jim Fassel - 5% - Team is unexplicably bad this year. Fassel's routine is tired. Philadelphia - Andy Reid - 100% - Held team together through adversity. Possible Coach of the Year. San Francisco - Dennis Erickson - 100% - Will get more than one year to fix the Niners. St. Louis - Mike Martz - 100% - Rams are a contender again. Martz sticking to Bulger helps. Seattle - Mike Holmgren - 100% - Seattle in the playoff race. Team is young and talented. Tampa Bay - Jon Gruden - 100% - Despite team fallout, he'll return. Washington - Steve Spurrier - 35% - Ball coach can't get it done in big leagues, back to minors despite recent public assurances from Snyder. AFC: Baltimore - Brian Billick - 100% - Dislikeable as he is, the team keeps winning. Buffalo - Gregg Williams - 75% - Team has bright future, just needs a QB with more mobility. Cincinnati - Marvin Lewis - 100% - Probably Coach of the Year for his revival of the team. Cleveland - Butch Davis - 50% - Team turmoil with Couch, Kevin Johnson, and William Green. Might be gone. Denver - Mike Shanahan - 100% - The job is his as long as he wants it. Denver still a contender. Houston - Dom Capers - 100% - Has done an excellent job bringing team along. Indianapolis - Tony Dungy - 85% - Unless there is another embarrassing playoff complete collapse, Dungy is safe. Jacksonville - Jack Del Rio - 100% - First year coach has bright future. Kansas City - Dick Vermeil - 100% - Sealed his Hall of Fame berth this year. Miami - Dave Wannstedt - 65% - Team really needs to succeed late. Offense still struggles despite Ricky. New England - Bill Belichick - 100% - One of the best coaches in the league. New York - Herman Edwards - 80% - Lost QB for more than half of season. Will get one more year to succeed. Oakland - Bill Callahan - 0% - Angered veterans and lost team in dismal season. Pittsburgh - Bill Cowher - 80% - Has track record to back him up. Team needs new QB and RB to succeed. San Diego - Marty Schottenheimer - 80% - Needs to succeed next season, or gig could be done early. Tennessee - Jeff Fisher - 100% - Underrated coach, outside of Tennessee.
