Well, I may have a few questions about this feature.  Here's where I will ask them.  The question now...
 
Do you use the "sound" feature for new IM alerts?  If so, which "sound" do you use?

No, I do not use the sound feature.  TO be honest, I use it more as a mailbox then an instant message.
