Funky obscure fact no# 1

Did you know that during halftime of the upcoming big game, an estimated 90 million toilets will be flushed, using enough water to flow over Niagara Falls for seven minutes? It's the big Halftime Flush.

"The NFL has prepared 10 dozen Wilson footballs for Sunday's game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks and plans to use a new one on every play of the first half, before going to a 12-ball rotation after halftime. It's something the league has done for several Super Bowls, donating some to charity auctions, setting aside others for selected players, coaches and officials, and sending the one used on the opening kickoff to the Pro Football Hall of Fame."

Here's the twist for THIS Super Bowl:

"...each will be marked with a drop of synthetic DNA to thwart potential counterfeiters who might be tempted to sell phony "game-used" Super Bowl footballs, which can be worth thousands of dollars. Exposed to a specific laser frequency, the DNA glows to a bright green."

I don't know if this is fact or fiction. Maybe someone else has heard this and can shed some light on it. I have not been able to find anything anywhere about this, nor have I ever heard of it before. The legend, as I'll call it, is that there is a monkey in Malaysia named Ko Ko Zoom Bo Bo who has predicted the last 8 Superbowl winners. If true, that would be pretty amazing in and of itself right? The kicker here, apparently Ko Ko has made her prediction at the beginning of each season. Her pick this year.....................Pittsburgh.

I heard this from a co-worker that could not tell me where he heard it. This co-worker was adamant about it though he could not give me any details of where he heard it from. Personally, it sounds like something a Steeler fan has fabricated!! Anyway it is at least entertaining if nothing else.

According to Domino's Pizza, their delivery drivers will log 4 million miles on Superbowl Sunday. Do you like cold pizza?
