You all may just get a glimpse of the Steg...

...over the next 48 or so hours. You see... I'm doing my usual walk out to the parking lot early Tuesday morning heading to class when I, again as usual, look out toward the beach tucked in behind the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel Complex and, lo and behold, there it was... That podium and set that ESPN sets up on Waikiki Beach to do Pro Bowl coverage from is like 300 yards south-southwest of,... well,... where I am typing this very message. I was like... Anyway, tomorrow or Saturday I'm going to try my best to get on over there behind that thing and give you all a wave. Even though I entertained the idea, I don't think I am going to make an "FFPro.com" sign or anything and hold it up behind them... unless you guys can persuade me otherwise and I can carve away enough time to do so. The way the set is set up, I just don't know how worth it it would be. It just seems like the people are kept far enough back behind the stage that the sign would have to be "GINORMOUS" for viewers to have any chance of making out what it says. And, even then, how much bang would I really get for my efforts? Furthermore, how foolish would I potentially look vis-a-vis how much of a bang I might get? Again, though, if any of you think it would be worth it, I'm willing to hear you out. At this point, one big pump, or should I say, pimp is all we need here to take this thing to the next level... and beyond more quickly. Peripherally related,... I mentioned my walking out to where I park. That has been all messed up this past week because a big chunk of parking, the main public parking lot, has been taken up by the cast, crew and whoever else have you of the TV show Lost. They are shooting an episode near here. I don't really know where they'd be shooting. The Waikiki/Ala Moana beach areas are awfully crowded. In any event, it was wild seein' all those trailors for the cast of the show parked right where I usually do. Unfortunately, I'm not a celebrity buff, so... nothing more to tell... ('cept for the fact that I couldn't get the swooning lead actresses to stop chasing my hot ass to and from my parked car all week)... ... ... Really, in fact, I've actually never even watched the show though I hear it's great. Anyway...

Nope,... as it turns out... I just walked down to the end of my hall and looked out and the ESPN podium behind the Hilton Hawaiian Village has been taken down. I guess they do their coverage over the weekend from the stadium. Gino and I were planning on finally setting aside the time here today to prance on by... and behind it and wave to you all. But, no... No dice,... at least not this year. Sorry. We know the deal now, though, for next year.

Well, the Mrs. is takin' the old Stegger out for a walk on the morrow... We'll be at Aloha Stadium for that all-star football game they call the Pro Bowl. The only live NFL action we "Hawaiians" ... get all season. I'll be sportin' my orange or grey original "FFPro.com/the Gridiron @FantasyFootballer.com" t-shirt. We're all the way up in the yellow section, BUT right on the 40, and I've heard that no seats are bad in this stadium. We're on the Makai side, I believe the AFC side, but, in any event, the SHADY, west side. Keep you're eyes peeled for a debonair 6'3" hunk ... with a cutie little chinky chick on his arm.
