CFL team who gave up name now gives up season... Currently topping "The REAL Feed"...  The CFL's Renegades hailing from Ottawa, once known as the Rough Riders, who gave up that team name so as to end the confusion with the formerly named Saskatchewan Roughriders, are now giving up a whole season...

Argonauts vice president of football operations Adam Rita confirmed that his club has placed Ricky Williams on its negotiation list, meaning Toronto now owns the exclusive CFL bargaining rights to the banished tailback.

The Dolphins will allow Ricky Williams to play for the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL as long as they have it in writing that the Argos will release him after the season, a source told the Miami Herald.
 
Tell me he won't tear it up up there...  Time to get those CFL fantasy leagues together... and make sure you give yourself the #1 pick...

I watched the press conferance on Ricky's   signing...kinda' bizarre listening to him tell a story about a certain king   and his councelor  .   But I do love the guy.

Former quarterback Joe Theismann, who began his professional career with the Argonauts and later went on to star in the NFL with the Redskins, said he was "embarrassed now to be a Toronto Argonaut" in an interview with ESPN Radio's Colin Cowherd.

One peripheral thing,... I didn't even know Theismann started his professional football career in the CFL.

The absolute latest on "my boy" Ricky.  As it turns out, it isn't his Achilles' that's ailing.  It's a (minor) heel injury.  Here are all the details (I know you all want to know ) from "The REAL Feed":
