I'm putting this here on "the Sidelines" because you are invited to list teams or players in general OR players or team defenses/special teams you have or had on your fantasy team(s).

...

For my part I'm going to list...

The Jets and their whole damn team, but especially, Chad Pennington, Leon Washington and Laveranues Coles. This has come as a total surprise to me.  Not a fan, but good for them,... and particularly Chad, who I am a fan of.

As for fantasy-wise,...

...In JYJ's league, despite question-marks entering the season (and, moreover, to put it in context the loss of Domanick Davis, my second-round pick), RB's Warrick Dunn, Frank Gore and Fred Taylor have all been wonderful.  All of the, not-so-golden WR's I drafted have been, although a little bit unpredictably up-and-down from week to week, a pleasantly surprising corps as well:  Hines Ward, Terry Glenn, Eddie Kennison, and even Donte Stallworth came out of the gate VERY nicely.  The Broncos and Steelers defenses/special teams have also been sharp.

...In the GBRFL, I can't say enough for Warrick Dunn, who keeps on truckin' despite being stuck at the wheel of a compact car, the aforementioned Leon Washington and very recently acquired Justin Fargas, who in spot duty has been, relatively speaking, fantastic and may just be getting his opportunity with Jordan quite banged-up.  I'm also going to say Deion Branch although this may be (quite) a bit premature.  But, I'm likin' what I'm seein' and what it may hold for the future.  And, just to show yous that a player can be both a disappointment and a pleasant surprise in one and same context, I have to admit that early on Donte Stallworth was a VERY pleasant surprise (even though his injury has turned him into a disappointment, as per my post on the correlate thread to this one here on "the Sidelines", but, really, it was only because he was first and, well, foremost a pleasant surprise that makes him now a disappointment).  And, last but not least, the Broncos and Falcons defenses/special teams, who I drafted right at the end of this year's GBRFL draft, have been downright incredible.

Kevin Jones' numbers are better than I thought they'd be...I'm especially happy with his receiving yards and number of catches. Stallworth's  early showing was great as mentioned by Stegger. Andre Johnson's re-emergence has been golden for me in every league!! Like Branch's move to Seattle looks to be good for him(wait and see), I like how Doug Gabriel is doing in New England....I think by season's end he will have pretty good low #2 receiver numbers (maybe 900 - 1000 yds and 7 or 8 TD's), which is outstanding seeing as how he started the season undrafted in many leagues. Last, but not least, Owen Daniels has been huge for me. I picked him up in 2 money leagues in week 3 as a bye week fill in for Witten and Gonzo. He has won me some games head-to-head over others TE's. He's outperforming some pretty big names in the game and has not left my lineup!!

Frank Gore has been my most pleasant surprise!!  I had no idea when he became the feature back that he would do this well.

Marques Colston.  Not so much of a surprise in terms of doing well, but a very nice surprise in terms of how many FF points he's giving me!
