Michael Silver's Idiocy on Yahoo! Sports

Just thought I'd give everyone the link to a completely ridiculous column by Michael Silver.  If you've ever seen him do his thing via internet video on Yahoo!, you know he comes across as pretty arrogant.  But this column takes the cake.  What I'm referring to specifically is his post-Week 3 ranking of the San Diego Chargers as the 31st best team in the league (otherwise known as second-worst team).  YES, THAT'S NOT A TYPO.  He seems to think the Bolts are worse than the Chiefs, Raiders, Bills, Jets, Dolphins, Bengals, Rams, Bears (whom the Chargers beat this year already), Giants, etc., etc., etc.

Talk about over-reaction.  This is the typical rookie move -- overreact to an under-performing team by saying they're the second-worst team in the NFL.

Comments?  Takes?  Your view on the Chargers' ranking?

(By the way, if this topic is in the wrong forum, let me know and/or go ahead and move it, Mr. Referee -- I don't start topics very often, so I'm not sure I put it where it belongs.

The Chargers and Saints in the dumpster?

Could be, they have looked real bad so far, but I still believe that they will be better than they have played thus far.  The AFC West and the NFC South are looking weak and it is still to early to write the Chargers or the Saints completely off at this stage of the game.

Neither team will compete as well as they did last year.  I would agree with your analysis that this guy is pretty sour graping it over a lack luster start.

By the way, the charger are better than the Saints.

I DIGRESS...
Our esteemed member T-Rave GRACIOUSLY gave us a heads up about his thread here, concerned that he posted it in the wrong place.  This topic is probably more apropos on "the Sidelines" since it is not FF-related.  That's where we're going to move it.  THANK YOU for your PROACTIVE understanding and due diligence, T. Great job!
