Title: Are you in the running and looking for a RB?
Post by PrimeTime on Nov 2nd, 2003, 9:13am
If you need a runnig back to put you over the top, I have the following: LT2, A. Green, D. Davis, Martin, Barlow.

For the right deal they can be had. Based on prior offers, however,  I do not think any of you will be able to get LT2 or Green because no one seems willing to offer top notch talent in return.

I would trade Martin or Davis if I can get back a top notch WR and a top notch QB.  I do have some servicable WR's and QB's to trade back in the deal.  If you are looking for that third RB to put you over the topp, then make me an offer.

Well I agree that you have some depth at running back, but do you think D. Davis or C. Martin are worth a top notch WR and a top notch QB. No &*#$! way!. I could see you wanting either a top notch WR OR a Top notch QB for one of those running backs. Your talking about one back C. Martin who is on the down side of his career and doesn't get the ball in the red zone. The other is a up and coming back who still might not be the guy there next year. Maybe you need to lessen your evaluation of those players. You still would be better off if you got one good WR or QB because you do have depth at RB.

Agreed.  But to a team that is one player away and has depth at QB and WR it may make sense.  If not, I can go into next year with LT2, Green, Martin, and Davis and use my first few picks on WR and QB's.

We will have to see about Martin, but I think his stats will improve with Pennington in at QB and Davis may be the real deal?!?.

You wont get a top player that you are looking for, but someone should jump on the DD kid. Barring injury he looks good. a starting RB is still a starting RB.
In this league Rbs are worth more than ya think... just ask the guys rotating their 3rd RB every week, or who start WASH rbs. Good luck with the deal. You are asking a bit much though, but could get a top #2 WR.
