Title: State of my team - Trade opportunities Post by bgsgfan on May 8th, 2004, 11:03am OK, in reviewing my roster, I have 8 definite keepers, 5 guys I'd really like to keep, and 3 more players that may hold value for someone else. Probably the best thing would be to get a protection spot for a draft pick. Earlier this was done for a fourth round pick. First to contact me will get my fourth round pick for a protection spot. If that can't be done, 2 for 1 or 3 for 2 offers may work to get down to 12 keepers. DEFINITE KEEPERS If you want anyone here, you need to be prepared to pay. QB: Green, Plummer, Delhomme RB: Williams, Bennett WR: Ward, Coles, Steve Smith LIKE TO KEEP One good option for me is to package 2 of these players for one. Another is to use one to move up in draft position. Currently, Chambers and Ramsey are battling for the 12th spot. QB: Ramsey RB: William Green, Garrison Hearst WR: Chris Chambers D: Dallas MAY HOLD VALUE These players are dirt cheap. If you want one of them, a simple move up in draft status will get him for you. RB: Bettis WR: Antonio Bryant, Jerry Porter Please contact me using the messages, not email. Thanks! |

Title: Re: State of my team - Trade opportunities Post by bgsgfan on May 10th, 2004, 12:27pm Thanks 4-2-0. I hope Porter works out for you. After deliberating, I decided I needed to keep Ramsy (he has a ton of talent even though he might not start) and Chambers is too good to let go. This means that the Dallas D can be had dirt cheap (a small draft improvement is all I am looking for). Dallas was the best D in the NFL last year as far as yardage allowed, and the second best scoring D. With a slightly improved offense and another year of experience, the D should only get better. I would also give my 6th and 7th round picks for a protection spot and your 9th round pick to allow me to keep this great young D. I am also looking to move my 2 4th round picks for a 3rd and a 6th. |
