I'm trying to sort out the draft picks and I've noticed some problems...

First off, during the season I traded my 5th round pick to Jim for his 4th round pick.

Then in the off-season, Jim traded one of his 5th round picks to Gene for a Protection spot.  Was that his original 5th rounder or the one he got from me?

Then Jim traded another 5th round pick to Jeremy in a multiplayer deal (Dunn, Hearst, and Porter).  Which 5th rounder was that one?

Finally, Jeremy traded that mystery 5th round pick to Kirk (along with Porter) for a 4th round pick.

Jim, can you straighten all of this out for us?   ?.?.?

Ignore this post... I made a mistake in reading the chart originally.  Jim discovered my mistake.

Let me see if I have this correct:

Jimmy C.: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 (no change)

Jeremy: 1,2,2(Jim),4,4(Kirk),6,7,8,9

Gene: 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9 (no change)

Keith: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 (no change)

Kirk: 1,2,3,5(Jim),5,6,7,8,9

Ray: 1,2,4,5,5(Jeremy),6,7,8,9

Jeff: 1,2,4,4(Jim),6,7,8,8(Jim),9

Jim: 1,3,3(Jeff),3(Jeremy),3(Ray),5(Jeff),5(Gene),6,7,9

Tony: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 (no change)

Jamie: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 (no change)

Everyone, please double-check this against your notes to make sure this is correct.

First of all, you have incorrect information. I have Gene's fifth rounder as well. I gave him a protection spot. The fift rounder I traded was my own. I still own Gene's and Jeff's 5th round picks. Kirk now has my fifth rounder. Hope that helps.

That will do it.  I misread the chart and somehow gave Gene your protection spot and your fifth round pick.

I'll make the change in the list above.

Question:

I have 10 players and 9 draft picks, making 19 players. Do I just draft my last 2 at the end of the draft to make 21?

No, you don't, Jim.  You have 11 picks.  Look at the "Transactions" page and see ALL of the compensation you received in your last deal with Ray.

High-maintenance. ;)

I just want to confirm the final (head-coach) round with Steg...

Are we going to do it GBRFL-style, where each owner (in order) will have the opportunity to grab a new head coach if he desires, or to keep the one he had from last year?

Yes, that is your first option.  However, if you want to change your coach, you have that option as well in the GBRFL.  I know I want to change my coach and select one that is currently not on any team roster.  We'd go through the draft order one final time and either select an available coach or pass and keep the one we have.
