Title: Re: Another Trade Made! Post by Philly on Dec 4th, 2005, 10:16am Hey... I only had one starting QB with Leftwich going down. I had to do something. You might be laughing now, but I'm still looking down on you in the standings. |

Title: Re: Another Trade Made! Post by PrimeTime on Dec 4th, 2005, 11:50am I actually think both trades make sense for all three of us. Injuries killed any chance I had to win this year so makeing a few trades that might pay off next year made sense to me. Jeff, who is in the running for the championship, needed another starting QB and Favre puts up decent numbers every week and is much better than anything on the waiver wire. I was not about to give him away. Jeff still has 3 starting RBs. Moss for Boldin and Rhodes makes sense because Boldin is out producing Moss this year and Rhodes is protection in case Indy rests Edge the last two weeks of the season. Hopfully I will make out next year with Moss and Droughns. If not then I made two bad trades. If Moss returns to the top 5 in WR and Droughns remains the starter in Cleveland then I made two great trades. Time will tell... |
