I think you do need to change your lineup. For some reason there was discussion about the fact that Kickers and Defenses don't "cascade" like the other positions.

I coach fall high school baseball and am in the middle of a tournament today. I do not have time to completely redo my line up card as I must get back to the ballpark for game two. I hope I can announce my kicker as changed to Stover here on this thread. Everything else stays the same.

You are good to go buddy. The beauty of the GBRFL format is that it will automatically default to your next kicker if your first kicker is out.

BUT, NOOOOOOO!!! IGNORE POST IMMEDIATELY ABOVE!!! This is something I've spent a TON of time (in year's past) DRILLING into you guys... I thought the rule was if your Kicker was listed st "out" it would default but if they simply scored zero it would not???

NO!!! That's exactly the (potential) point of confusion I have busted hump to disabuse!!! No such (administrative nightmare of a) distinction is made!!! You get your topmost listed kicker no matter what, i.e. whether he doesn't score because of a bye-week, being out due to injury, OR his just not scoring. That is the case! Make note of it NOW,... PLEASE!!!

[offtopic]Do also note, though, that if a dude just totally biffs and inputs a kicker he doesn't even have,... like in the case of a player requested in free-agency that was listed in the lineup, but wasn't acquired,... THAT (player or defense) would simply be ignored. But,... remember,... that is not a function of "cascading", per se. That is just a case of simply "ignoring" that input. And, there are sticky situations where this distinction matters.[/offtopic]
