[offtopic]Jeff, thank you for getting these threads started, [smiley=bow.gif] BUT, fellas, calling this thread "OFFICIAL" is only to do so in a "loose" sense.  Trades, technically, aren't really "official" unless they are reported (by both/all parties) on the lineup card with the lineup submissions.  Bottom line, I don't want this to turn into an extra place I have to consult for (weekly) player transactions, thus, making extra work/minutiae for me.  Consolidation is key for making my job as easy as possible on me, which I know all of you want to do.  ALWAYS REMEMBER TO LIST ANY TRADES YOU MAKE ON YOUR LINEUP CARD whether or not it has been posted here.  In fact, there may be reasons for not wanting a trade to be disclosed to everyone before the kickoff of games, in which case you would NOT want to use this thread at all.[/offtopic]

[offtopic]Hey guys... I'm recording all the trades and my spreadsheet indicates that Jim already traded away his 2007 9th round pick to (ironically) Ray in the Jones/Benson for McNair/Moats transaction.[/offtopic]

Yes,... that is indicated on the "official" "Transactions (http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/gbrfl2/transactions.htm)" page at the league site, as well...  Just go to the page and do a search on "9th" or something like that.  It's the first trade it'll take you, too.  However, it's obvious that this is just a "courtesy" compensation pick.  It would just defer to whatever Jim's current last pick is, which I am guessing is his 8th-rounder.  Not a biggie!  But, ultimately, it is good to make it clear and get it right.

Are you guys going to throw in another draft pick to balance the trade? You know that a pick sent necessitates either a pick or a protspot returned, otherwise the rosters will be unbalanced when it comes to draft day. Rob, are you just going to include your 9th rounder? (I keep a spreadsheet with all of the transactions and draft pick movement so it's easier to figure out who drafts where come August.)

I just looked again and the Transactions page shows that Steve DROPPED Joe Jurevicius in week 12 to pick up Damien Nash. Did that transaction not actually occur? I can't go back and look at the lineups to see if there was a mistake there.

Whenever it's not explicitly stipulated, it is always the dude's "current" last pick that gets "automatically" "as a courtesy" transferred over.

Oh, this IS a problem...  GREAT pick-off, Jeff!  The player I WILL drop to make this deal will be Damien Nash.  If you want him, Rob, he's yours... in place of Jurevicius.  If not, we can just let it be without Jurevicius...  Your call on that!  I will accept whatever of those two options.  As per other posts regarding the itinerary of my immediate future, I'll be a [smiley=ghost.gif] here soon.  So, just go ahead and post whatever you want to do right here, and it's official!

I'll take Frank Gore.    [smiley=deal.gif]

OK, seriously folks.

I'll take Nash, and send  my 9th.    The deal now looks like this:

Mile High Madness sends:

2007 3rd Rd pick
Damien Nash

to Fury of The Norsemen for:

Travis Henry
2007 9th Rd pick

I believe it's open now to a point before the draft.
