I've been sending out trade offers for a couple months now. Unfortunately I haven't gotten anything done and have been completely ignored by a couple owners.

I think we need to start gearing up for 2007 by getting a roll call to see if we still have interest amongst all of the owners.

We'll also need to start thinking about a draft date before long as people's summer schedules are likely filled already.

The players that I'd want from your team (Palmer, Rivers, Parker) aren't guys that I'd be able to pry loose with my sorry roster.

Anyone know if Gene Nestro is still around? He disappeared with a few weeks left in the season and hasn't been seen since.

Also, Steg, are you continuing in the league or are you handing the reins off to a new owner?

I was thinking of offering some Rogaine instead to make the trade more enticing to you...

Gene was around through the end of last season. He's still around and kicking!

I don't think I am going to keep the team. That is not my intention. But, given that we're running a bit short on time here this year and "all 'things' considered" as regards what went "down" here last year and how I still "feel" about it all (not just the Jamie side of it), we're not going about this "democratically" this year. I am going to handpick the successor. I have already contacted the person atop my list, and he is mulling things [no, just to ease you all's minds, it's (at least) not (yet) Chili D., my personal friend who, last I spoke with him, is so-so on fantasy football]. If he says no, I'm going to work down my list from there. By and large, my list is comprised of dudes you'd all pretty much welcome (except myself, I suppose), [smiley=no.gif] I think. You'd definitely be welcomed back, Steg, if you wanted to stick around and manage the team.

Regardless of what you choose, we will welcome any serious, active owner and try not to rape and pillage his/her roster too heartily. ;)

(Of course, if it's the team I think it is, that Mile High reference has got to go.... ;D)

All help in learning the scoring, trading, and whatever system will be greatly appreciated.

Well, after my 1st Place finish a Looong 3 years ago and consecutive 6th place finishes the last two years, I have come to the conclusion that I really need to shake things up!

Everyone on my team is available! LT, McNabb, Moss, Green, Jordan ... everyone!

Now this is not a fire sale, but I am looking for good young talent and draft picks. If you want to make a run this year and one (or two) of those guys will put you over the top give me a call. (or maybe you want to rebuild your team around one of these guys)

At this point I know the roster I've adopted & that I have 12 protection slots, but I still don't know what draft postitions I've adopted. (And thanks for getting my info in, Steg.)

I'm obviously interested in talking about draft positions, protection slots, and trades - as soon I know what the flock I have now! (The sooner I can figure out where to find that out, the sooner we can deal. ;D )

Two more questions I should ask, in case there is some new update on the rules posted somewhere in the middle of things that I might miss. Could someone point me to anything that isn't available on the basic league site that I should know (whether you want me to know it or not... ;D ) And is it serpentine?
