Title: A.J. Feeley

I have been meaning to post this all day.
I couldn't resist Stegey. Your insight was better by far. You drafted your guy last year and held on to him. I got lucky on the wiaver wire.
We both nailed it!
Great job bro!!

I think the difference between yours and Steggys deal is that Rattay is the clear starter.  I know the Dolphins are paying 3 million to Feeley, but remember, he did not beat out Koy Detmer for the #2 job.  AND, I believe the Feeley will have competition for the spot.

Thanks for the kudos, Joe, and congrats on your good move and fortune, as well.

I must say, though, that I am in almost 100% agreement with what Steve says...

I did discover that Feidler has restructured his deal. That is a good thing. You guys are correct, Feeley will have competition. In the same aspect Feidler will have competition. Although if Feidler starts and gets hurt, I doubt he will ever get the job back again.
I too think, that Rattay will be the starter. I have read rumors though that the coaching staff really like Dorsey. I think Dorsey is more of a long term project. I only worry about the OL in SF. They cut 3 starters and their WRs are in shambles when Owens leaves.Unless of course everyone thinks Lloyd will get it done. Who knows. If/when Owens leaves they could sign DJackson and help that area.

Call me crazy, [smiley=gonecrazy.gif] but I still think Owens's leaving is not a given with Garcia now out of the picture. [smiley=shrug.gif]

Well, I guess I was crazy after all. [smiley=shootmyself.gif]

I posted my (optimistic) take here:

News out of Miami are that it is an open competition. Feidler will start this game, then be replaced by Feeley. Next week game against the Skins, roles will be reversed.
I think Chambers will have a better than expected year, since Boston is out.
