Title: IMPORTANT: From the Commish's desk... Post by StegRock on Sep 11th, 2004, 3:59pm Guys, The site will regularly not be "turned over" until Monday evening this season (it's already done this week). Thus, until then, you will not be able to see other's lineups and player transactions will not be processed. Though processing weekly results shouldn't get held up too much. I would expect results to typically be posted on Thursdays. This is just the reality of my new life circumstances. What I encourage between all of you is heightened communication, especially regarding lineups. Like I put up this week, though it didn't really get used, I would STRONGLY recommend that we have weekly lineups threads here on our message board so that each week you guys on your own can post your lineups after kickoff of the first game(s) for others to consult. As for the scoring of this week, Week 1, expect it to perhaps not be up until Friday. For more detailed information on things, go here: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=58;action=display;num=1094931807. I am also not going to get a local phone. As per the "Owner Information" page, use the one I have posted there, which is my cell phone for theEnglishMaster.com. Peace Out, Steg |

Title: Re: IMPORTANT: From the Commish's desk... Post by StegRock on Sep 15th, 2004, 6:30pm The league site has been updated with Week 1's "Results" and consequent "Standings". You have about 24 or so hours to check shit out after which I will "switch over" the system again for accepting lineup submissions for Week 2. [smiley=bow.gif] |

Title: Re: IMPORTANT: From the Commish's desk... Post by StegRock on Sep 16th, 2004, 8:48pm I made a little biff (with a big consequence) in one of the teams' stats lines. [smiley=doh.gif] I forgot to put in "Points Allowed" by the Eagles defense for Danny's NATION of DOMINATION. They allowed 17 points, not 0 points. This caused the score of one of his games to be changed and REVERSED the result of the other. Check out our "Game Results" and "Standings" pages for the details and update. Sorry. :-[ And, thank you, Frank, for following up and pointing it out so quickly. |

Title: Re: IMPORTANT: From the Commish's desk... Post by Art Vandalay on Sep 19th, 2004, 11:50am 8-) No problem Steg. Anything I can do to help keep the high standards and itegrity of the league intact. I'm sure Mr. Fedder agrees. :) |

Title: Re: IMPORTANT: From the Commish's desk... Post by StegRock on Sep 21st, 2004, 12:10pm Week 2's results are indubitably going to get held up. Hostica, our web hosting company, is doing an upgrade (behind the scenes) which prohibits receiving e-mail during this time. It should be over soon, but... [smiley=shrug.gif] Let's put it this way... I am hoping to have Week 2's results up by Thursday evening. Thank you all in advance for your anticipated understanding and patience. [smiley=bow.gif] |

Title: Re: IMPORTANT: From the Commish's desk... Post by StegRock on Sep 25th, 2004, 6:33pm Guys, do NOT submit your lineups via the league site over the next hour or so (of this post)! That part of the site is undergoing a bit of maintenance. Your submission will not process correctly. Thank you! [smiley=bow.gif] |

Title: Re: IMPORTANT: From the Commish's desk... Post by StegRock on Oct 12th, 2004, 8:46pm Fellas, there was an initial mistake in the transactions for Week 4. It was fixed within about 15 minutes. If you happened to look in at the "Transactions" and "Rosters" pages around 8:30 this evening, go check them out again and make sure you are working with the right information. Thank you and sorry for the error. :-[ I'm in a bit deep these days (first paper due Friday) [smiley=RIF.gif] ... [smiley=howtoput.gif] ... [smiley=drown.gif] |

Title: Re: IMPORTANT: From the Commish's desk... Post by StegRock on Oct 27th, 2004, 1:19pm Fellas, Week 7's results are likely to be posted quite late this week, as in Friday or perhaps even Saturday. I will, however, "turn over" the system so you can submit lineups by Friday afternoon, so confirm lineups before then if you want to be able to double-check the score(s) of your game(s). Thank you. |

Title: Re: IMPORTANT: From the Commish's desk... Post by StegRock on Nov 8th, 2004, 5:48pm Frank Gonzalez did not need to drop the San Francisco 49ers this week when picking up Eddie George due to his trade with Dave Bohrer. However, that is what he put on his lineup card, so that is what I followed. As such, Frank, you have an extra roster spot with which to add a player or defense without making a drop. Also, note, that this situation is different than not dropping a player because you did not get your free-agent request(s). This is as if you simply put in a drop without putting in a free-agent request (which, I don't know why you'd do, but... [smiley=shrug.gif] ) , in which case I would interpret it "as it is" as though you wanted the player off your team. Okay, over and out! [smiley=builder.gif] |

Title: Re: IMPORTANT: From the Commish's desk... Post by StegRock on Dec 2nd, 2004, 10:40am I will turn over the system later today, probably around 4:30ish, so that you guys can submit your Week 13 lineups. However, Week 12's results will not be up until Friday afternoon at best. So, if you want to have the Week 12 lineup for your opponent(s), get them, cut and paste them to a word file or whatever, a.s.a.p. Thank you! [smiley=bow.gif] |
