Title: Liquidation sale
Post by DB on Oct 31st, 2004, 10:34am
[smiley=ghost.gif]  Happy Halloween. [smiley=possessed.gif]  [smiley=scared.gif]
Since I gots my 1 win for the year and my season is now as successfuly/unsuccessful as Trout's  :-X, I will listening to some offers from the contendas.  I have some decent guys like Dunn, Pittman, Keyshawn, Greise, Stokley, etc. that could be that #3 guy you need to win it all.  I am looking for draft picks and young players that I can keep next year.   [smiley=cowboy.gif]

I am not giving these guys away  [smiley=dunce.gif] although I have been known to make some bad deals, so email me if you have any interest prior to the deadline.

[smiley=wave.gif] Hello?  Is anyone out there?  You wusses haven't conceded the league to Frank have you?   ?.?.?  I am almost giving these guys away and no one wants them.

Come on, Manning isn't going to get 500 yards and 5 TD's every week.... TO will not get 2 TDs every week.  It's too late for me but you 7 - 5 guys need to get motivated and get him.  Keyshawn, Price, Greise......  these guys can help...  so pack up your first round picks and sent them my way and go chase Vandelay.  [smiley=cantcatch.gif]

Actually, I may have some interest in your wares.  You've convinced me with that whole Manning and TO talk. I'll call yah.

DB;
 I confess, I'm one of the 7-5 wuses that haven't come foward to
make a run at this barrage of talent you are releasing at a mere fraction of their value.
   Your very assessment of these "players" as being able to help other teams is in itself a telling statement of how fucking  delusional you have become in regard to evaluating fantasy talent. I understand that Keyshawn has been instrumental in forging you to some exciting 3 win seasons and yes he'll probably join forces with Eddie George on Frank's roster, but let's get real.
   Sorry again, but I must step aside and allow other pretenders like myself to challenge for this fine batch of prospects.

Trout  >:(,

I don't want to argue with you.  Seems like 12 straight "unsuccessful" seasons is getting to you.   :-[  Sorry.  The Red Sox finally won and hopefully you won't have to wait as long.

In terms of my fucking delusional evaluation of talent I will simply point out that the players I mentioned are better than some of the crappy players on your team.  Dunn's 7 TDs are only 1 behind your beloved Tiki and probably more than the rest of your team COMBINED;  Greise had more yards and TDs than Garcia and Warner COMBINED last week; Keyshawn is on pace for 1000 and 8 (not a bad #3).   Finally, Pittman has had two straight 100 yard games ... last week he had 128 yards and 3 TDs!!!

I don't get the Eddie George reference ?.?.?

DB;
   [smiley=alcoholic.gif]......this just in: my crappy, beloved guys have 10 wins; your undervalued batch of prospects have one  thrilling victory to their credit. I guess we'll just have to blame the coach of this powerhouse roster for their failures. [smiley=coach.gif]
    Oh and yes, true to form I have quit and ceded the trophy to Frank this year. Hoping to build through the draft again.
    Go Sox!

DB, the Eddie George reference was a dig on me. :)

Trout, nice try on trying to give my team the kiss of death by ceceding the trophy to me, but I do not accept it.  >:(
I spit on such a hanus act.  >:(
I formally decline any offer to give me a trophy >:( (until it's time of course)

Get Behind me Satan!! Get behind me!! [smiley=demon.gif]

That's it.  Let it out.

Feel better?

Oh my God!!!!  I agree... my team sucks.  Thanks for the scoop.  Just kidding, I knew that before you pointed it out   [smiley=hellyeafunny.gif]... that's why I'm trying to get rid of my "superstars" ...  But thanks for uncovering my "master plan"....  ::)  However, how am I overvalueing players if never said the price?

In any event, I know you other guys aren't as keen as Trout, and maybe not so quick to give up, so please look at the players I listed (and the stats) and let me know if you are interested.

P.S. Trout ...  I guess you couldn't respond to the stats I mentioned huh?  Congrats on the 2 wins this week.  You must not have given up too much if you added up the scores.   [smiley=steg.gif]

:-/Oh sure, now everybody wants to trade. Last week I had to beg for Eddie George. It's tough being the cream of the crop; the top of the heap; the king of the hill; A -#1....... :-/

You almost nailed it.

Ok let me try again ....   ;D

Kyle Boller won't have 200 yards and 2 TDs every week and Stokley won't have 132 yards and 2 TDs every week.   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
