In breaking news this morning, the once storied Resurrection franchise fired GM Dave Bohrer after four straight disappointing seasons. Although The Resurrection got off to a promising start, another season near the bottom was too much for team owner/president, Dave Bohrer. "That Bohrer is an idiot! What more can I say. I mean, for God's sake, if Gonzalez can win the league, how hard can it be!"

There is no word on a replacement candidate. GM Bohrer was asked about his future as he was packing his bags. "Maybe I can catch on in the GBRFL3 or something".

In other news around the league, similar rumblings could be heard in Hawaii (first to worst), Voorhees, NJ (when will the Pakman live up to their potential?), Virginia (two underachieving franchises) and Philadephia (perennial third place finisher Dave Trout is fighting for 4th).

The word out of Colorado is that owner/GM Mark Hahn has one more year to win it all before facing the ax. Some fans wonder how the hell they don't win the league every year with Alexander, Tomlinson, Barber, Johnson and TO. "Don't worry" says Hahn, "with Reggie Bush coming in next year, I will have a solid #4 to cover the bye weeks. Besides, with all Stegeman's draft picks for the rest of the decade, I will wallpaper my kids' walls with pink and purple polkadots!"
