Title: 2006 Draft pick reconciliation???
Post by DOLFAN on Aug 13th, 2006, 11:41am
Steg, I was wondering if you have had the chance to create and/or update a spreadsheet like I have done in the past for this years draft picks.
I have not started one, but can work on it if you would like for me to. Or if you want to send me what you have I can go back and double check if you want me to. Anything that I can do to help. I have done this for us in the past, and could do it again if needed.
If not then could you post it somewhere please. I noticed that the GBRFL2 has a simple post that looks better than what I have done in the past. With the many trades over the last few years, some of which include future draft picks that go a few years out.
I am here to help if needed.

I am willing to throw my hat in to help as well. I am more than happy to take the data in raw form, lay it out cleanly and produce a pdf that could be e-mailed to everyone.

Just let me know if I can help...

Guys, the draft grid is up at the following page.  I think it's right... [smiley=bullseye.gif] Please peruse it for errors, though:

http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/gbrfl/GBRFL2006draftpicksgrid.xls.

Note that the (one) offseason trade made (this offseason) between Mark and Joe had to be slightly adjusted.  Joe got Mark's 7th-rounder, not his 9th.

Looks like the spreadsheet does not reflect my midseason deal with Frank where I picked up his 3rd and 5th and he has my 7th and 8th.   :-*

Also, I am inspired by Joe's and Mark's offers to help and in the spirit of this board, I want to offer to help out as well.  I will offer to conduct the draft lottery for us... right here in my living room.   ;)

Steg,

Thanks for the work and putting that up. I hate to sound ticky-tack but I do believe Joe and I agreed on him taking my last pick which would be Warner's 9th. If this causes a big deal then no worries (I wasn't super-clear in the post and that's my fault) but I think that was what he and I agreed.

DB,

I thought you had heard - I already held the "random" selection for the lottery here in Colorado. Using the highly ethical techniques employed by the NBA, you were fortunate enough to draw the 5th pick.

That seems right, Markie.  Sorry 'bout that.  I missed that you had that pick,... was juggling A LOT there.  The "Transactions" page and the grid have been adjusted accordingly.

That's okay Mark, the way I see it, since Ladell Betts is looking pretty good to you right about now, I may get the guy I want at #5.
