Guys, as it's turned out, Doug is not coming back... [smiley=wavinbye.gif] So, the guy I've been "grooming" [smiley=peedog.gif] to be his replacement is "officially" in. I bring to you all Travis Cooper a.k.a. T-Rave a.k.a. gridiron_legends a.k.a. our San Diego Chargers FF-specific Team Correspondent (http://www.ffpro.com/teamreports/chargers/chargers-footballinfoframes.htm). He is an avid fantasy footballer and was a colleague of mine back at Catholic U. He's already practically "ABD", unlike the old Stegger here, [smiley=wiseman.gif] who still has a bit of a way to go. Anyway, I am confident that he will fill Doug's shoes VERY well! He has been a good friend, and I am sure that he will bring the diligence he's shown me in our friendship as well as with his Chargers reports to the GBRFL. He's in for the long haul, and I am sure he will be an active owner with whom we will develop great camaraderie. So, let's all give T-Rave a hearty GBRFL [smiley=welcome.gif] to the league. Welcome, T-Rave, to the crazy world of GBRFL! Good luck to you this year.

Since no one is stepping to the plate, I thought I should be honest and provide some "information" on the other owners in this league so that you are not taken completely by surprise.

You may not believe this, but there are owners in this league who tend to try and make unfair deals. Now, I won't stoop so low as to actually spell out these select owners, so I will change their names to hide their identity. But I have provided a ranking system (see below) to give you an understanding of what you might be up against.

SAFETY RATING - Excellent. Go ahead and make transactions with confidence!

SAFETY RATING - Good. Not too bad to deal with and you can come away with a fair deal.

SAFETY RATING - Below average. Be highly cautious of any attempts at communication. A deal can be cut but in most cases it will be at your expense.

And it's what you will need to purchase for yourself should you become abused. It's not a pleasant thought and neither is dealing with this type of owner.

Do not attempt any type of communication with this person - it will only aggravate the situation further. Simply run away or place yourself in the fetal position when contacted by this owner. Wait for the barrage of endless information on why the deal is in your best interest to come to a complete and full stop and simply say no to all advancements. Then call the phone company, your internet provider and the USPS and let them all know of your immediate need to change your contact information.

SAFETY RATING - Poor. Unless you like to be submissive.
