Here is where to post your roster protections for 2021...

The GBRFL Summer Meeting & Draft is scheduled for Sunday, September 5th with a start time of 3:00 p.m. (ET).

The deadline for submitting protections is thus Sunday, August 29th by 11:59 p.m. (ET)!!! So, anything that is posted here before then can be changed until then (preferably by editing your original post and not making a new post every time you want to make a change)!

Also of note, on the "Rosters (http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/gbrfl/rosters.htm)" [smiley=helmethead.gif] page over at the league website the current protection-spot count for each team is indicated! [smiley=uponreview.gif]

I usually do not post my protections this early for "strategic" ::) reasons, but I feel pretty firm about things this year, and it is all subject to change until the deadline anyway, and I have a free moment now between summer classes and fall semester, and my team is sketch anyways, so let's have at it...

Time to retire the Gurley Men team name. It was a solid team name for 6 years. Peace out, Todd Gurley. You only had 3-4 great years but we won 3 GBRFL titles. Time to move on with Dalvin and the Chipmunks.

I will NOT be locking this thread as I normally do right after the cutdown deadline passes here at midnight tonight (ET). Not that anybody would even try to do so, but all changes are time-stamped, so any shenanigans would be seen. [smiley=nownow.gif] Additionally, I plan to update the "Rosters" page tonight [smiley=fingerscrossed.gif] in accordance with tonight's finalized cuts. [smiley=steg.gif]

ANYway, what is up is that I am not locking this thread for James. Once the cutdown deadline has passed here in a matter of minutes, [smiley=ontheclock.gif] James can then select his twelve out of the pool of available players and defenses at any time right up until right before the draft. If he wants to do so beforehand, though, he can submit them right here (and then I would lock it). Even if he does it on draft day, I will still make sure that they get posted here for the record (and that the thread then gets locked).
