With Lance soon to launch [smiley=rocket.gif] the MAJOR upgrade and transformation of the GBRFL league website, I am not updating the old website for the 2025 season, at least not thoroughgoingly (meaning I have updated only around the edges, like details on the league home, "History", and "Owner Information" pages).  So, THIS THREAD, for just a little bit until Lance does that launch anytime here now, is going to function as the OFFICIAL 2025 "Transactions" page (as all we can do for now is conduct trades). It is time for us to get a protocol in place in earnest, albeit it manual, for reporting trades.  I would recommend doing so via DM to me, Stegfucius, RIGHT HERE!

I recommend this because: 1) you can do it anytime and in a private manner, and 2) it is the most transparent way to do so as you can see for yourself that your DM remains uncollected by me until after the scheduled kickoff of the first game of the week.

However, some of you do not mind showing your cards beforehand to everyone.  As such, alternatively, you may post trades made right here on this thread, and if you want to be a bit stealth about it, you can do it last-minute right before the scheduled kickoff of the first game of the week.

NOW, with trades, there is more information you need to convey, such as:
  • Extra drops for uneven trades (if this is not reported in a timely fashion by the scheduled kickoff of the first game of the week, it will cause the trade to be cancelled).

  • Where you want your newly acquired player placed in your lineup (if not indicated, the player is simply added to the back end of your list).

To provide an example, I will post the trade between Aukai and me from last week immediately below...

This trade requires a courtesy compensatory pick back to Danny, that is, James's current last pick as of the trade...  That pick is James's 8th-rounder.

The two courtesy compensatory 2026 Draft picks from James to Lance need to be amended from an 8th-rounder and 9th-rounder to a 6th-rounder and 7th-rounder as those were James's last picks at the time of this trade.
