Title: Browns could try to coax Aikman out of Retirement

Just perusing the KFFL Hot of the Wire, and saw this

Quote:
Browns | Just Talk - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
13:21 PT: According to Len Pasquarelli of ESPN.com, there is some talk in Cleveland if QB Tim Couch (elbow) is sidelined for a long period, coach Butch Davis could puruse former Cowboys QB Troy Aikman as a potential replacement.

I'm sure it's just another thought like when Barry Sanders or Robert Smith are mentioned as coming back for a team, but if Couch is going to be lost for an extended period, it's something to keep in mind.

Aikman would be a good #2 or weak #1 in a larger FF league as the Brown's QB.

WOW! :o That is news!  He would still be good ole' statisticsless Aikman, though, I fret.  His numbers, even in his "good" days were [smiley=no.gif]!  Good find, nevertheless! [smiley=smileythumbsup.gif] He'd be a decent backup, I suppose!
