Title: What are the chances Faulk stinks it up tonight?
Post by StegRock on Sep 23rd, 2002, 6:16pm
In tonight's game, bascially I need Marshall Faulk to have NO rushing TD's AND 52 yards or less and only 1 TD max receiving; really shitty rushing and especially pretty poor receiving averages and less than 8 receptions would help.  If he scores 1 TD rushing, then I absolutely need him to have no more than 51 yards and 1 TD receiving AND have less than 8 receptions, preferably no more than 5, AND a poor yards-per-catch, along the lines of 5 for 25; a really horrific yards-per-carry would help.  If he scores 2 rushing TD's, I am cooked.  The only thing that could help me then is if he rushes for 11 yards or less... [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif] with 2 TD's... talk about Catch 22's... the entangled webs we weave in fantasy football! ::)

So, what are the chances of this happening?

I already went ahead and picked him to have a HUGE week in the "Red Zone Players of the Week"!  Oh brother! ::)

Welp. Based on the last few years, if you need Faulk shut down then you need the Saints or the Bucs. While not foolproof (especially in the Saint's case) these are the only two squads to demonstrate an ability to take Faulk out of the game. I actually believe Faulk will be stopped but the Ram passing game will come through for the win. But that's just my gut.  :-/

He will stink it up tonite.  I need 31 points to win and go 2-1. Since I also start Wilkins both will be lame. [smiley=caughtonthecan.gif]

Is Faulk out of the game or something?  Why did I just see Canidate in on their last series?  Please, tell me it is so!! [smiley=havinablast.gif]

Marshal,Marshal,Marshal. All I needed was 150yds and 2 td.s.  My first round pick curse continues.  I think I will take up fantasy chess. [smiley=downthetubes.gif] [smiley=gonecrazy.gif]
