Who do I go with this week?  I need two starters.  6pt/TD, 1pt/10rush-recYds.

Priest Holmes, Travis Henry, Clinton Portis, TJ Duckett

I got to be honest.  I am going with the obvious choices... Holmes and Henry.  Bottom line, NEVER take out Holmes.  There is no longer a justifiable reason to pull Holmes out of your lineup ever. [smiley=no.gif] Henry is a tougher call, but I say you got to go with Henry over the Denver backfield town council.

Also, I don't think Duckett is going to have a very good week this week, at least not on the field. [smiley=laugh.gif]

Holmes for sure.  For what it is worth I am going to gamble on Portis this week.  Not realy, I don't have a choice since Dunn is off, but I do have high hopes for Portis.  Shanny said he will get an increase in carries as the year goes on.  Safe pick, Henry or roll the dice on Portis.

You can't even concider benching Priest Holmes.  Just accept that unless he gets injured, you will start him all year.  Lock it into you mind.  I see Holmes as the #1 ranked RB in the entire League this week at Miami

Isn't Atlanta OFF this week?  Duckett is on a bye

Portis has a decent matchup.  The Ravens are giving up 104 rushing yards a game, although they have yet to surrender a Rushing TD.  Take Ray Lewis out of the Mix, and Baltimore is toast.  He had 19 Tackels himself in week 2!   :o  The Ravens are comming off a bye, but I don't think that matters here.  The problem with Portis is "WHO THE HECK IS GOING TO BE THE MAN FOR DENVER?"  All three of Portis, Anderson, and Gary have atleast 20 rushes on the season, and all three are averaging well over 4 yards a carry.

Travis Henry has been quiet in the last two contests (65 yards rushing and 1 touchdown, 4 catches for 33 yards, total). Part of the problem last week was the stellar Denver defense, though, which leads the league in rushing defense, surrendering only 47.3 yards rushing per game.  The Bears' rushing defense is playing with an injury-decimated defensive line. Starting DE Philip Daniels is out, and so is starting run stuffer DT Ted Washington. The absence of these two key linemen is apparent, as the Bears currently rank 19th in the league in rushing defense, surrendering 111.7 yards per game on the ground, although only 2 touchdowns in 3 games.

I think you have to go with Henry  The Raven's have yet to yield a Rushing TD, and the Bears are giving up more yards.  The Bears also have a number of key injuries to there Run D.  Add to that the concept of "Who the hell knows who the RB for Denver really is" and it seems pretty clear cut to me.

I'm only going to add that Portis has about twice the upside of Henry this week.  However, he could not even play.

OK - I had a couple brain cramps there.  I posted that at about 6:30 AM.  Anyway, yes, I know that Priest Holmes starts no matter what.  And yes, Duckett has a bye, so he shouldn't have been listed.

I guess I was getting a little disappointed in Henry following his huge week one showing.  And he is going against a decent (albeit hobbled) defense this week.

I was leaning towards Portis this week because Gary is injured and I was probably swayed a bit by Portis's numbers last week.

Unless I hear arguments to convince me otherwise, I'll go with Henry over Portis.
