I need to drop one of my WRs. I'll need the roster spot to pick up one-week fill-ins for byes and I'm too deep at the position considering I can only start 2 each week.

Donald Driver
Qadry Ismail
Ed McCaffrey
Randy Moss
Jerome Pathon

I'd try to trade one, but the people who really need receivers don't have anything worth trading for. Anyone have thoughts on who should go? I'm leaning towards the Missile.

By a hair, a miniscule one at that, I would actually drop Pathon over Ismail. I think Stallworth/Horn is more of a threat than Wayne/Harrison, believe it or not. [smiley=ohshit.gif]

I would drop Qadry. Manning seems to go to whomever he likes that week. Pathon continues to put up yds. Plus Horn is a bit banged up and Stallworth out for who knows how long.

Steve you should spend more time updating your GBRFL transactions page instead of messing with these trivial threads. LOL. ;D

I'm a Quadry owner who was fairly high on him as one of the better #2 wr. Only encouragement I can really offer is that the are clearly still throwing his way, as this weeks 6 catches would attest, but he's doin nuthin with them.

How soon is the bye? Can it wait a week to see Pathon thru one more game?

btw...it certainly looks familiar, but I'm drawin a blank on the football painting? What we got there?

If you find my fantasy questions so trivial, why do you even bother spending your time responding to them, let alone reading them?

Philly, funny thing is, this guy just picked up Jerome Pathon this week (in the GBRFL). He was his #2 choice, though, actually. He also has Jamal Lewis and Chris Redman. Check out the "RAVENS" thread to see his "objective" ::) commentary about each of them. Here's the link:

As for me, I have neither Qadry nor Pathon. I have not made any effort to acquire either of them. I am just an "objective" observer. I wouldn't quite give up on Qadry just yet and I wouldn't buy into Pathon just yet, either. Frankly speaking, I just think that Ismail is the better player. I also happen to think highly of Stallworth. He will be fine... sooner than later. If this helps, think of it this way. Didn't Ismail, in essence, replace Jerome in Indy? ;) And, didn't the rook, Stallworth, basically do the same thing to him in New Orleans, injuries notwithstanding? [smiley=hmmmm.gif]

That's a tough one. I'd drop Pathon. I believe he will see less and less of a role as Stallworth continues to develop.

;D Thanks for the insights everyone. I've decided to let it ride one more week since I don't have any byes to fill in for this week.

:o I'm leaning towards dropping Pathon unless he does something to really make me think otherwise this coming weekend.

::) I figure this week I can put Pathon and Ismail on the trading block and see if I can get any bites.

Drop Pathon. I don't think you'll get anything for Pathon/Ismail. You're better off offering McCaffrey/Pathon or something.

Hmmm, it appears that Pathon turned in a solid game 2-79 and a TD. [smiley=dancin.gif]
While Qadry had 4-42 and no TDs. Stallworth is out another week, so Pathon should have another shot at a TD. [smiley=smileythumbsup.gif]
For the yr: Pathon--17-232-4
Qadry---17-186-3
Same # of catches, more yds and TDs go to Pathon. I also feel he will do better while Stallworth is out.

It seems no one was interested in either player in my league. I've actually already dropped Pathon because I needed to pick up a #2 TE as Shockey has been disappointing and is now hurt.

I kept Ismail because he is solidly the #2 receiver in Indy and is still getting looks (it was 6-42 last week) while Pathon will be #3 as soon as Stallworth is healthy again.
