Title: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 8 Post by StegRock on Oct 29th, 2002, 7:57am Think I got a neat idea for another participatory thread here at "the Red Zone" (to go along with our "Red Zone Players of the Week"). I am calling it "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week". Here, you are to list your key player for the week, the one that was key to your victory(ies). I really think we can have some fun with this! [smiley=dancin.gif] You can expect this to be up every Tuesday from here on out! As for mine for Week 8, well, my team played very "flat," but I did manage to at least split my two games, i.e. win one. I'll go with Priest Holmes and the Denver Broncos D and then I'll go get myself a [smiley=bonghit.gif] and hopefully move on to better days. |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 8 Post by DirkDiggler on Oct 29th, 2002, 11:12am My MVP has got to be Deuce McAllister who came through big with over 100 yards rushing (for the 6th time this year) and a few touchdowns!! His performance managed to carry me to victory over the previous poster, Mr Stegrock. |

His td run was enough to defeat my arch rival in my bar league and keep me tied at 7-1 with the commish. [smiley=dancin.gif] Have to give Deuce Mc. and Billy Miller an assist. Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 8 Post by Brian Griese,s Dog on Oct 29th, 2002, 1:05pm Doggies dude of the week is Warrick Dunn. I had serious doubts about my chances to go 5-3 with Faulk on a bye. Dunn with a little help fom Timmy Brown pulled me thru. [smiley=dog.gif] |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 8 Post by Philly on Oct 29th, 2002, 2:50pm I had a three headed monster [smiley=3-D.gif] [smiley=3-D.gif] [smiley=3-D.gif] this week! McNair, Holmes, and Portis all came up big for me. But my MVP this week will go to Randy Moss whose 119 yards and a TD were a welcome (and long overdue) addition to my lineup. [smiley=victory.gif] My money league team is 8-0 now. Although I fully expect to lose that pristine record this coming weak when Holmes, Portis, and McCaffrey are all watching the games at home with me. I've got Antowain Smith, Kevan Barlow, and Donald Driver trying to carry the torch for me against the #2 team in the league. Could be an ugly one. [smiley=ohshit.gif] |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 8 Post by bgsgfan on Nov 1st, 2002, 3:47am I'm in a lot of leagues and have a wide variety of players. I like to pick a guy who I have in several leagues, for my MVP honors last week I'll give it to a guy I have in EVERY league. He is the feel good story of the year in the NFL, and putting up decent FF numbers as well: Tommy Maddox. While he didn't have studly numbers, it was still very nice to see for a waiver pickup and a Steelers QB to boot. |
