Title: Raiders - Niners, Both sides now

Raider offense outlook against 49ers

QB - Gannon

Pass TD      Run TD      Pass Yards      Rush Yds      Pass Att
2.67            0.33           356.67            10.67            40.67
2.33            0.33           350.00            14.33            42.67
1.67            0.00           342.33            10.00            48.33

49ers vs QB

Pass TD      Run TD      Pass Yards      Rush Yds      Pass Att
1.00      0.00      222.00            10.50            35.50
1.67      0.33      232.67            15.67            35.33
1.33      0.67      250.67            31.67            34.00

Summary: Gannon will get his yards{280-320} and most likely 2 tds.

RB - Commitee with Garner as Mr Chairman

Run TD      Rec TD      Rush Yds      Rec Yds      # Rec
0.67           1.00        87.67            89.33      10.33
0.67           1.00        67.00            92.33        9.67
0.00           0.67        45.33            85.00      10.67

49ers vs RB

Run TD      Rec TD      Rush Yds      Rec Yds      # Rec
0.50         1.50             95.00            61.00      8.00
0.33         1.33            109.33           52.33      7.00
1.33         2.00            107.00           36.00      4.67

Summary: Good room for improved rush yardage but a little less recieving room. Look for 70 to 80 rushing yards and a maybe 1 td on the ground, but a rec td for sure.

WR - Mainly Rice Brown & Porter

Rec TD      Run TD      Rec Yds      Rush Yds      # Rec
1.67            0.00      248.33         1.67            14.67

0.67          0.00          196.00        12.33            15.33

Some individual numbers for those of you with these recievers

T Brown

Rec TD      Run TD      Rec Yds      Rush Yds      # Rec
0.33          0.00           61.67          -0.67            4.33
0.00          0.00           59.33           0.00            4.33
0.00          0.00           89.00           2.67            7.33

J Rice

Rec TD      Run TD      Rec Yds      Rush Yds      # Rec
0.67           0.00          118.00        2.33            6.00
0.67           0.00            98.67        0.00            6.67
0.33           0.00            88.00        4.00            7.00

J Porter

Rec TD      Run TD      Rec Yds      Rush Yds      # Rec
0.67           0.00          66.67           0.00            4.00
0.67           0.00          77.33           0.00            5.00
0.33           0.00          59.33          -0.33            4.00

Summary: Rice is the one consistent play, but don't see anything swingig to far off normal for any of them.

TE - Roland Williams, Jolley, Marcus Williams

Rec TD      Rec Yds      # Rec
0.00            19.00         2.33
0.00            20.33         3.33
0.33            19.00         4.00

49ers vs TE

Rec TD      Rec Yds      # Rec
0.00           23.00         2.00
0.00           14.33         1.67
0.00           18.33         2.67

Summary: Run, don't walk to your waiver wire and get a legitimate tight end. Garbage this week, garbage every week.

K - Janikowski. Man, I love to be able  to report the following:

FG          FGA        XP       XPA        Pts      Max Pts
1.00      1.33      5.00      5.00      8.00      9.00
0.07      1.67      3.67      3.67      5.67      8.67
1.00      2.33      1.67      1.67      4.67      8.67

49ers vs K

FG         FGA        XP         XPA       Pts      Max Pts
1.00      2.00      2.00      2.00      5.00        8.00
1.67      2.67      2.00      2.00      7.00      10.00
1.00      2.00      3.00      3.00      6.00        9.00

Summary: With me & Shankikowski it's personal. But extreme bias aside, ya got a kicker who is slumpin hard, against a team that gives up relatively few chances and then for whatever reason, none of SF oppenents misses are blocks, have a definite pattern of misses against them. Kickers are head cases in my book and I'd suggest scouring the waiver wire for a replacement. Surely some teams that carried two k for bye have release a few decent options at K.

There ya go. San Fran's side, and it looks very friendly, will have to wait for tomorrow.

I gotta tell ya man, I look forward to your outlook every week.  Lots of great info in there.

The only thing that sucks is that you aren't predicting 200 yds and 3 TDs for Priest Holmes this week.   [smiley=hellyeafunny.gif]

Any thoughts on Barlow this week?  He is the healthier of the 2 RBs for SF.

Title: Re: Raiders - Niners, Raiders offense

I'm starting Barlow in three leagues. Traded to get him this week in one of them. Fairly safe to say I'm pretty high on Barlow :) This week could be huge if hearst is able to play, it will knock it down to very good. Hang on just a minute and I'll thro his match up up.

Here's the rb numbers

Hearst

Run TD       Rec TD       Rush Yds        Rec Yds        # Rec
0.50             0.00            78.50           25.00           3.50
1.00             0.00            81.33           31.00           3.67
0.67             0.00            54.33           30.67           3.33

Barlow

Run TD        Rec TD        Rush Yds        Rec Yds        # Rec
0.50              0.00           59.00              0.00            0.00
0.33              0.00          48.67             14.33            1.00
0.67              0.33          49.00             26.00            2.30

Oak vs RB

Run TD      Rec TD      Rush Yds      Rec Yds      # Rec
1.00            0.50         110.50         49.50        6.50
1.00            0.60         124.67         43.33        6.30
0.67            1.00         134.67         50.00        5.67

As a commitee Hearst/Barlow should get better numbers than normal. Normal is pretty damn good. The whole every other week thing has been steady but I really look for it to be primarily Barlows game. No talk of Hearst not playing, but none of what I've come across talks about his hammy as being any better.  Be nice to see some practice reports tomorrow from today's session. I'll keep us posted.

The reason no one can kick is because it's Candlestick.  The coldest, dampest, windiest park that doesn't have snow.

The other side of the ball.

Enjoy the games guys!

QB - Garcia

Pass TD      Run TD      Pass Yards     Rush Yds     Pass Att
1.50            0.50           208.00            30.00            27.50
1.33            0.33           230.33            28.00            31.33
2.33            0.00           243.00            28.67            32.00

Oakland vs QB

Pass TD      Run TD      Pass Yards      Rush Yds      Pass Att
2.33               0.33       333.67              7.33            40.00
2.33               0.67       257.67              5.33            33.00
0.67               0.67       188.00            10.33            25.33

Summary: There would appear to be two or three td available for Garcia. Yardage wise, Oakland is tighting while SF is gaining. No huge swing, but look for around the ever so save 250.

RB - Squad numbers {see above for Hearst/Barlow indiidual and Raider team}

Run TD      Rec TD      Rush Yds      Rec Yds      # rec
1.00           0.00         139.50            27.50      4.50
1.33           0.00         132.00            52.33      6.33
1.33           0.33         107.00            62.33      7.00

A refresh of Oak vs RB

Run TD      Rec TD      Rush Yds      Rec Yds      # Rec
1.00           0.50         110.50            49.50      6.50
1.00           0.60         124.67            43.33      6.30
0.67           1.00         134.67            50.00      5.67

Summary: Plenty of room for good numbers to the rb. 2 if not three scores. The recieving side of things favors Hearst over Barlow, but I've yet to read anywhere that Hearst's hammy is feeling any better that last week and it certainly limited him then. Barlow to post back toback big games.

WR Owens followed a ways back by Streets and Stokes

Corp

Rec TD      Run TD      Rec Yds      Rush Yds      # Rec
1.50           0.00        169.00          1.00            11.50
1.33           0.00        163.67          1.33            11.33
2.00           0.00        174.00          0.67            11.33

Oak vs WR

Rec TD      Run TD      Rec Yds      Rush Yds      # Rec
1.67           0.00        247.67         0.00            16.33
1.33           0.00        200.00         6.33            12.67
1.00           0.00        117.33         9.00            8.00

Owens personal numbers

Rec TD      Run TD      Rec Yds      Rush Yds      # Rec
1.00           0.00         86.50          1.00            6.50
1.00           0.00         78.00          1.67            5.67
1.67           0.00         92.33          0.67            6.00

Summary: Another nice statistical matchup. Recievers will get there catches and then a few, and 2 tds as well. Looking at Oaklands wr rushing allowed, do I smell a Owen's reverse?

TE- Eric Johnson

Summary: Yawn, part duece! No td's, no more than 2 catches in a game for the weeks I eval, against a def that outside Gonzalez's 62 yards last week hnad given up 0 yards the two previous. Stay away.

K Cortez

FG         FGA          XP      XPA      Kick Pts      Max Kick Pts
2.50      2.50      4.00      4.00      10.50            10.50
2.33      2.33      2.00      2.00      10.00            10.00
1.67      1.67      6.00      6.00        8.33            8.33

Oakland vs K

FG         FGA         XP       XPA      Kick Pts      Max Kick Pts
0.33      0.33      3.00      3.00      4.00            4.00
0.33      0.33      3.67      3.67      4.67            4.67
0.67      0.67      3.00      3.00      5.00            5.00

Summary: Solid stats, but can't deny he may see a few less FG opps. 100% kicker vs 100% kickee. I love being able to call the Raiders a kickee

Gannon

actual 164 and 1 td.

Who knew, Part 1. Was expecting less than his normal, bt no where near this much less.

Oak RB

actual 75 rush - 1 td, 21 rec yards 4 rec, 0 td

Very close to what the Niners have been giving up. Clearly, Callahan is not reading/taking my advise on recieving td's for rb. He'll learn.

Oak WR

actual 137 rec yards, 1 td. Another casualty of the Niners better than indicated pass def stats would have indicated.

Oak TE

actual 1 rec for 6 yards

Oak K

actual 2 xp and 2 of 2 on fg. Shankikowski crow is pretty bad. nice recovery, unfortunately. Score one for the numbers, right where it showed he'd be.

Garcia

actual 282 passing 46 rush, 2 tds

Little better yardage than expected. Got his td's despite the numbers showing it might be tight.

49er RB

actual 106 rushing 12 recieving. Less yardage and 0 td's. Better add Mooch to the list of coaches not respecting my numbers.

49ers WR

actual 263 recieving 2 tds. Better than their own or Raider numbers would have suggested. Td's were right, not much else. Big day at the expense of the rb corp.

49ers TEs

actual 1 catch 7 yards. Niners beat the Raiders by 1 te yard.

49ers K

Actual 2 xp and 3 of 5 fg. 100% this, 100% that = 100% wrong on kickers this week. Did I mention Janikowski stills sucks?
