Week 9

Think I got a neat idea for another participatory thread here at "the Red Zone" (to go along with our "Red Zone Players of the Week"). I am calling it "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week". Here, you are to list your key player for the week, the one that was key to your victory(ies). I really think we can have some fun with this! [smiley=dancin.gif] You can expect this to be up every Tuesday from here on out!

As for me this week, I am lookin' at another split week. ::) At any rate, for my one win for the week, I definitely have to award my game ball to Brad Johnson. A BIG [smiley=smileythumbsup.gif] for a good guy 8) who definitely showed his mettle this week and laid any quarterback controversy that might have been brewing in Tampa to rest!

No doubt about it for my teams this week. Antowain Smith! I will admit he only got off the bench due to bye weeks/injury, but what a "forced" play! 111 and 1 td on the ground, 31 yards and 2 td's thru the air. He did his job in two of my four, now back to the bench!

I give all my cheers to AHMAN GREEN [smiley=alcoholic.gif]. After going the first five weeks with no TDs. He has 7Tds in the last three games [smiley=bow.gif]. I came very close to trading him now my number 1 pick is going to take me to the top [smiley=ready4war.gif].

This will be a tough call, considering my entire team scored 36 points this week. Antowain Smith had a nice 32 point effort (on my bench). [smiley=shootmyself.gif]

I guess I have to send props out to Kicker Jay Feely for being consistent week-in week-out. [smiley=pullleeeeeeeze.gif]

I'll go with David Akers as my MVP this week. We get a bonus for 4 fg's in a game, so he netted me a whopping 41 pts, with Ahman Green right behind him with 40.

[smiley=doseofreality.gif] I guess I will give my game ball to Driver. his 1st reception of the game was enough to break a 71-71 tie and keep me even with the commish at 8-1. It was a[smiley=pig.gif] week but I did win.

Tikki Barber helped me pull out a 6-1 weekend. nice to win with Holmes on bye ;)
