Title: Tai Streets!
Post by Razzak on Nov 5th, 2002, 6:07pm
The dude is set to explode this week.  He's improved his production week after week, and hits KC's god-awful secondary in week 10.  So who are you benching for Streets this week?

Burress is gettin the pine in favor of Streets.  I mean it's KC, how can I not start Owens/Streets and hope for 300 combined yards?

I lost out on Streets last week being 9th in the waiver order. [smiley=alcoholic.gif]

Ha, ha!  I got him in Week 8 ahead of all of the fools! ;) [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]

[smiley=coach.gif]Go, Tai, go!  I really liked this guy two years ago before his brutal injury and I am really liking him again now!  I like Tai food [smiley=lickinmychops.gif]; I like Tai beaches; I like Tai bitches [smiley=dog.gif] [smiley=hooters.gif] [smiley=moon.gif] [smiley=eatme.gif], and I definitely like Tai Streets where you can find the Tai bitches [smiley=dog.gif] [smiley=hooters.gif] [smiley=moon.gif] [smiley=eatme.gif].  Okay, it's Thai, not Tai. ::)

I am still pondering who to bench for him this week. ??? It will have to be Tony Gonzalez or Terry Glenn.  I can't pull Rod Smith or Joe Horn, and that leaves me with only one open spot for him in my starting lineup.  Any thoughts?

mmmm Thai bitches [smiley=hooters.gif]   Put Ms. Glenn in the dog pen.   To answer your earlier question Steg-man.  No sir my arch rival is not on this board.  I have failed to inform him of it. [smiley=evil.gif] IN fact I have not even told my partner as he has not learned the fine art of keeping his mouth shut.  This situations gets worse the more Coors he drinks.  With the Gridiron I feel I have an ace up my sleeve and one in the hole. I went to my waiver wire first thing this morning and put in my claim for him.  Hopefully no one else is going to go after him.  Let's keep this under wraps for the next 12 hours or so just in case anyone from my league is reading this.  I really need a 3rd receiver and Streets fits the bill perfectly.    [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Yeah I grabbed him 3 weeks ago as soon as Stokes was injured (stokes was a FA before the injury).  He'll be good when the matchups are right.

Anyways, definitely bench Glenn.  I think people are starting Jerry Porter over Glenn in my league.

You didn't think you could get away with this for more than 24 hours.  When I first read that sentence, I took a total double-take.  Well, I guess the fact that he can't keep his mouth shut does "swing both ways." [smiley=rollinwithlaughter.gif]

Now, all you gotta' do is cum on here (I'm so juvenile) and tell me your partner is a female. [smiley=mywhippinboy.gif] OUCH!  Tell me he's a shemale and I'll really be flabbergasted. [smiley=gonecrazy.gif]

Thanks for the support.  It is so funny.  I am notorious for coming up with "business" ideas that have an inherent impediment to growth.  With my other .com, "the English Master" (theEnglishMaster.com), the main service, the only one I really make, no generate, any money from is the proofreading service.  Unfortunately, though the few clients I have (had) like it and say they are going to spread the word, in a way, how can they? [smiley=laugh.gif] Just think of how many reasons people have to keep it to themselves, moreover, to have to keep it to themselves. ::) Oh brother! [smiley=gonecrazy.gif] [smiley=alcoholic.gif]

Thanks for letting us all know how well Streets would do this week.  I'm not sure how I could have won without his 4 points!

[smiley=coach.gif]

Just riding ya man.  He looked like a good play...  I'm not dumping him yet...

I'm dumping him, but I kinda planned to this week anyways if he didn't perform.  I've already got enough WR starters and Burress was the only one I'd consider benching for Streets.  After this week, I won't be doing that.  Time to grab Fenderson and hope my rival's McAllister goes down

Woooh, Nellie!  Let's not be too rash here, fellas!  The whole 49ers offense, particularly the passing game, including Owens and especially Garcia, was lackluster this week.  Tai Streets is a talent.  I could see him and Owens developing into a Rice-Taylor type of combo someday.  If you are in a keeper league, don't let this guy fall between your fingers.  You will surely regret it.  He is a goodie and a keeper.  It is so funny how the "bandwagon" changes direction so suddenly and abruptly in fantasy football.  Patience is a virtue, guys!  Don't forget it! Rice - Taylor?  You didn't really mean that, did you?

:o  :o  :o  :o  :o  :o  :o  :o  :o  :o  :o  :o

I think Streets is a solid #3 WR.  Since the Niners don't have a #2 (with Stokes being a bust) he may appear to have more value right now.  Don't be surprised if the Niners look to upgrade their receiving corps (to give Sharpie some help) in the offseason.

Streets is a nice player who has some added value right now, and while he may not warrant a pink slip right now based on his performance, he is not a long-term solution.

Next thing you know, Steg, you'll be hyping Jamel White again.

He won't do anything big this year and he's not worth keepin in a keeper league.  He's a decent WR in a dynasty league but even then I'd rather have an Antonio Bryant, Donte Stallworth or Ashlie Lelie than this guy.

I still like him better than any Bengals or Baltimore receiver.  Heck I like him better than Jets receivers too, but I don't think I'd bench Burress/Owens/Conway/Horn/Driver for him again, so he's gettin cut.
