Title: Since we're on the subject of WRs... Post by paulinstl on Nov 9th, 2002, 6:28pm I will be playing: Gannon Ahman Green Deuce McCallister Gonzo Troy Brown... I need another WR. My choices are: Pathon Frank Sanders Coles Chambers What do you guys think? I hate having a RB and WR from the same team in my lineup, so I'm inclined to not go with Pathon. [smiley=frustrated.gif] |

Title: Re: Since we're on the subject of WRs... Post by FourTwoOh on Nov 9th, 2002, 6:35pm A case can be made for or against Sanders. A legit #1 if by default only. I tend to value that maybe too much in a situation like this, but man, there has only been 4 tds to wr all year and he had two of those were his already so step right up mr sanders a grab you share. :shudder: Chambers I'm down on because of qb. Not comin off my bech this week. By default that leaves Coles. Your hottest hand as he's consistently getting steady points week after week. Probably the toughest d faced but Miami's not kickin' anybody's ass either. Coles for President! ;D |

Title: Re: Since we're on the subject of WRs... Post by ColaSteeler on Nov 9th, 2002, 6:37pm While I agree that Sanders could get a Td pass since he's the #1 by default, I like Coles a lot better. Since Pennington took over, he has gotten some nice yards and several TDs. I'd pick him. |

Title: Re: Since we're on the subject of WRs... Post by Barnaby_Wilde on Nov 9th, 2002, 6:46pm Coles, Sanders, Chambers, Pathon in that order. I agree with Cola. Coles has been getting more looks now that Pennington is the starter. |

Title: Re: Since we're on the subject of WRs... Post by Drugrunner on Nov 9th, 2002, 8:01pm All options suck. That said, I would go with Frank Sanders against Seattle. When they played in week 2 Sanders did score, although he only had that single catch. The last two weeks, he has had 6 catches each, and he has been coming on. With Boston out, Sanders is the best option there now. The only risk is that since a 1 legged grandmother could get 100 yards rushing against the Seahawks, they might not need to pass at all. Coles is your second best option, but go with Sanders. |

MAN, could not have stated it any better! It is not a move for the faint of heart, but I, too, would go with Sanders in this sitch. He is now a #1... again. Remember, Plummer doubters, Plummer had his BIG fuckin' games back in the day when Boston was not even in the game. Sanders was! |
