Title: Which 3 WRs?
Post by ColaSteeler on Nov 9th, 2002, 6:35pm
I'm in a big dilemma this week as to which 3 to start.

Horn is for sure, and I need 2 of Tim Brown, Jerry Porter, Plaxico Burress, and Chad Johnson.

I'm leaning towards Horn, Plax and Porter right now, but it's tough to bench Tim Brown..........even though he only had 1 catch last week, he must have not been happy with that......would the Raiders make an effort to get him the ball this week?

Yeah, I think they make an effort to get Brown the ball this week. Having said that, Porter is always getting open. It seems he's gettin his numbers regardless if it's Brown or Rice who is getting all the others.

Plaxicao, Horn and Porter or Brown, flip a coin. Sorry I can't be any more helpful. :-/

Targeting info shows both Ward and Burress getting a fairly steady 7 to 8 minimum. Last week was the exception 16 to 6 in favor of Ward

Brown/Porter - like paulinstl said Porter gets his 5 to 7 every week and catches damn near every one of them. Only NOT caught two passes throw to him in the last 3 weeks.  Outside of Browns monster game agaianst the most under appreciated, soon to be restored to glory, and haunt you sumbitches, defense in the league, been pretty even with TB through the same four game stretch

Chad who???? :D 5 to 8 targets a game and and catches most of 'em. 4 drops last 3 games

I'd have to go Horn-Porter-Burress

I would stick it out with Brown over Porter this week.  After last week, they are going to try to force the ball into him.  Be patient with Porter! [smiley=zenmaster.gif]
