Title: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 10 Post by StegRock on Nov 12th, 2002, 9:37am Week 10 Think I got a neat idea for another participatory thread here at "the Red Zone" (to go along with our "Red Zone Players of the Week"). I am calling it "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week". Here, you are to list your key player for the week, the one that was key to your victory(ies). I really think we can have some fun with this! [smiley=dancin.gif] You can expect this to be up every Tuesday from here on out! As for me this week, I ain't got shit! [smiley=smileythumbsdown.gif] Ain't no one deserving any game balls on my team this week! Hell fuckin' NO! [smiley=no.gif] |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 10 Post by ugley on Nov 12th, 2002, 1:25pm Game ball this week goes to Marvin Harrison. [smiley=cheers.gif] Although Mungro is not on my team I have to give him an atta boy for helping open up the passing game and setting Marvin free. I eaked out a 7 point win to go 9-1. Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 10 Post by Philly on Nov 12th, 2002, 3:24pm No one stepped up for me this week. I had mediocre efforts from everyone. I guess if I have to give a game ball out, it would go to Mikhael Ricks for his 1 yd TD catch. Was he even on the field for any other plays? Anyway, I was able to win against a division leader with a solid squad to go to 9-1 for the year and officially clinch a playoff berth by winning my division. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 10 Post by Dullo on Nov 12th, 2002, 5:30pm I hate to say it but my gameballs go to the 2 Detroit Lions guys on my roster. 14 points for the Lions this week, but I got 56 points from Hakim (36) and James Stewart(20). If only James Stewart can keep it up. |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 10 Post by FourTwoOh on Nov 12th, 2002, 6:08pm Bulger & Burress combined for 75 points. Enough to beat my opponents team total of 67. Portis, in two different leagues, came up just short of pulling out two more victories. Care to guess which one is a money league? Hint: not B & B |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 10 Post by Brian Griese,s Dog on Nov 12th, 2002, 10:23pm Sad to say, but this weeks game Bone goes to cocktail Kerry Collins, a bye week pick up for Bledsoe. His 24 pts. were twice the next highest in my line up. A win would have given me a 7-3 tie with the division leader, but instead I got mauled by a 1-8 team. Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 10 Post by Walker_Boh on Nov 13th, 2002, 12:29pm My game ball goes to Tom Brady, whose 30 points came just 1 point short of outscoring 6 of my opponents 8 players. My team improved to 6-3, one game back in the wild card race. Thanks Tom! [smiley=cheers.gif] |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 10 Post by bgsgfan on Nov 13th, 2002, 12:37pm Tommy Maddox!!! I picked him off waiver wire in all 7 of my leagues and started him in 5 leagues. Anyone else notice how easy it has been this season to get decent QBs, WRs, TEs, Ks, and Ds off waiver wire??? I am steadily becoming more and more a proponent of the stud-RB draft theory (backed up by VBD for the other positions). |

You said it! {in my best Joe Frday} background: I play in an 8, 10, and two 12 team leagues. fact a: I am dominating points wise in two of four. fact b: I drafted Kurt Warner with the fifth pick in two of four. there are no leauges in common with both a & b Never again will I stray!
