Title: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 11 Post by StegRock on Nov 19th, 2002, 7:03am Week 11 Think I got a neat idea for another participatory thread here at "the Red Zone" (to go along with our "Red Zone PRIMED Players for the Week"). I am calling it "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week". Here, you are to list your key player for the week, the one that was key to your victory(ies). I really think we can have some fun with this! [smiley=dancin.gif] You can expect this to be up every Tuesday from here on out! As for me this week, it really was an all-out team effort. It was the first week I have gotten two wins in awhile, though (in the GBRFL on some weeks we have bonus games), well, in four weeks. [smiley=awwgee.gif] I will give my "game balls" to two particularly key players for me: QB Brad Johnson and WR Joe Horn! Thanks for taking me to 15-4, and still at least 3 games ahead of anybody else, on the season. [smiley=bow.gif] |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 11 Post by FourTwoOh on Nov 19th, 2002, 10:29am Has to be Bulger for me. Although I needed 300 yards and 3 td's for a two game come from behing sweep and only delivered 347 and 2 td's, the bum, that was enough to squeak out a two point win, giving sole possesion of 1st, clinch a playoff spot, all with the week's 4th lowest team score out of 12! [smiley=angel.gif] 'Course, as you'd expect, it's earned him a spot on the bench ::) [smiley=evil.gif] |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 11 Post by mattman on Nov 19th, 2002, 10:42am I'd have to give to Tampa DE, 3 Ints, I still lost, but at 7-4 I'm still running in second place.... here's to week 12... |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 11 Post by Philly on Nov 19th, 2002, 12:37pm I had a solid effort across the board, but I guess my game ball goes to the Rams Defense. I needed 14 points from them to go to 10-1 on the year. They came through with 7 sacks and got me 15 points! (Even though cnnsi.com hasn't included the MNF scores in their totals yet - and shows a loss in the standings for me. I trust they'll fix this one.) I clinched my division title last week and am now fighting for a playoff seed. One other division leader is also 10-1 and has a handful more points than me. Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 11 Post by Walker_Boh on Nov 19th, 2002, 8:13pm It was a tough decision, but this weeks MVP is going to the Tampa D. They came up huge scoring 22 points and carried the Milehigh Madness to victory. Way to go Bucs! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] |

Title: Re: "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 11 Post by bgsgfan on Nov 21st, 2002, 2:10am Gotta go with Hines Ward. I love having that guy on my teams! Not only does he put up great numbers, he is just an all-around great football player... AND plays for the greatest NFL team! I love my receivers in my main league overall: Ward, Owens, and Driver - they pulled me through even though Maddox got hurt :(. |
