Title: Re: Which 2 backs will run to a Victory? Post by paulinstl on Nov 23rd, 2002, 7:23pm Henry looks to be a no-brainer, even though the Jets have played good rushing D lately. If you can wait until late in the morning to put your lineup in and Gordon is playing, go with him. I don't like Staley's chances much against the Niners, especially with an unknown quality (Detmer) at QB. Good luck! [smiley=coach.gif] [smiley=drummer.gif] [smiley=gonecrazy.gif] |

Title: Re: Which 2 backs will run to a Victory? Post by Walker_Boh on Nov 23rd, 2002, 7:35pm I'd go with Henry and Staley. When the Jets and Bills played in week 1, Henry had 178 total yards and 3 TD's. :o[smiley=lickinmychops.gif] With McNabb out, Staley will be counted on to carry the offense. Expect a heavy dose of Duce.[smiley=thumbsup.gif] |

Title: Re: Which 2 backs will run to a Victory? Post by BarnabyWilde on Nov 24th, 2002, 1:08am Tony, go with Henry and Gordon. Marshall still listed as questionable: This from CBS Sportsline: It is unknown yet if Marshall Faulk will be joining Warner in the St. Louis backfield. The star running back missed Monday's game with foot and ankle injuries and is questionable for Sunday's game. So I guess I am in agreement with [smiley=coach.gif] Paul and [smiley=coach.gif] FourTwoOh and [smiley=coach.gif] ugley... Good luck this week vs the Tea Baggers... :) |

Title: Re: Which 2 backs will run to a Victory? Post by Philly on Nov 24th, 2002, 8:30am Go with Henry and Staley. There is nothing to indicate that Henry will do any worse this week. Staley should get even more work than in previous weeks. Staley had a great week last week with an immobile QB in the backfield. The Cards knew that McNabb wasn't going to run at all, so they were able to key on the (slow) wide receivers and the rushing game. Staley still got his. Why take a flier on Gordon when you have no idea what to expect from him - he is a back-up after all. |
