Title: Re: Line Up Help WK 13 Post by StegRock on Nov 27th, 2002, 8:36am At RB, I would go with James and Alexander. I don't like Taylor's matchup. You definitely have to go with James. I think Alexander has a better chance at having a decent game/SCORING than Taylor. At WR, you gotta' go with Burress. After that, I would go with Streets based on matchup alone. That having been said, I do not think you can expect much more than 70 yards (worth of points) out of any of the other three you list. Any more would be bonus! |

Title: Re: Line Up Help WK 13 Post by Philly on Nov 27th, 2002, 9:37am At RB: Taylor and James. I think Alexander will be hard pressed to do much in an important division game for San Francisco. At WR: Taylor is a must start against the Bungles. After that, I'd lean towards Burress. He'll probably get the most looks of the remaining three. [smiley=pimpin.gif] |

Title: Re: Line Up Help WK 13 Post by Tony_O on Nov 27th, 2002, 12:02pm Well you have: James at home vs. texas Taylor at home vs. Pitts Alexzander on the road vs. San Fran I would have to go with james and taylor San Fran has stopped some great backs in the past 4 weeks Staley - 55yrds 0tds L.T - 88yrds 0tds Holmes - 51yrds 1td Garner -52yrds 1 td And generally runningbacks do well at home and the edge will have take advantage of the turf(speed)at home! [smiley=money.gif] At Wideout I would go with Gardner vs. Dallas.....They have a good "D", but there main weakness is at corner...they are acceptable to double moves and will likely give up a TD in the air! Secondly I would go with Burress...If Galloway exposed Jacksonville's defense, burress should have no problems. Especially if Maddox starts and then its an automatic because Kordell doesnt seem to throw to him as much. |

Title: Re: Line Up Help WK 13 Post by FourTwoOh on Nov 27th, 2002, 1:02pm Pitt has given up 2 td's to rb 3 weeks in a row. Hou has given up 2 td's to rb in the last 4 games. San Fran has only two games where a rb has not scored a td. One of those was last week. Leads me to Taylor and Alexander T Taylor has the matchup and the 3 game scoring streak just ended R Garner not a bad play, but his 3 game scoring streak just ended, still had decent yards P Burress Definately down a bit right now. Maddox's status is key. I'd still probably go Burress simply as he is your overall best wr T Streets scrolling, scrolling, Oh! there he is, #47 bestest reciever around. {note: I'm on record as not being very high on Tai Streets} Thai Stick, whole different agrument. [smiley=bonghit.gif] Taylor and Burress |

Title: Re: Line Up Help WK 13 Post by mattman on Nov 28th, 2002, 6:05am James & Alexander at RB Taylor & Burress at WR To be the above combinations have the best chance of getting in the End Zone, F.Taylor may get you some yards, but at Jac, S Mack is the End Zone man... So I Say E.James for me here.. Burress especially if Maddox plays... T.Taylor, Bal are looking good at the moment and Taylor is the current go to guy there... Matt |
