Title: Where oh where did Pittman go?? Post by DirkDiggler on Dec 8th, 2002, 8:25pm Sing with me: "Where oh where has Pittman gone, oh where oh where could he be?" I am not sure what the hell happened this year? Pittman was supposed to flourish in Grudens offense. Even our Guru Mr Stegrock predicted that he would have a good year. BUT....how many touchdowns does Pittman have this year? ZERO!!!! NONE!!! ZIP!!! NADA!!! He is been the cause of much heartburn for me this year. Being a GBRFLer, (a deep keeper league) it is tough getting starting running backs. I have started Pittman almost every week and he does nothing. The fact that he has done nothing for me all year is bad enough, but now I have to figure out what the hell I am gonna do with him during the offseason. Will he comeback next year? Will he be the Tyrone Wheatly for Gruden? (you know, the Wheatly that got 2 carries a game) Should I protect him? Should I trade him and basically get nothing in return? UGH!!!! And finally, did I mention I hate Gruden. He screws up fantasy. AND, he left the Eagles!!! Oh no, no bitterness here!!!! |

I do not know the etymology of the word "guru," but it sounds kind of like this: [smiley=sultan.gif] , and I am much more of a [smiley=zenmaster.gif] than a [smiley=sultan.gif] . But, mostly I am a [smiley=joker.gif] ! [smiley=sneaky.gif] [smiley=wiseguy.gif] Quote:
First off, trade... get nothing in return! ??? Uhhhhh... I get it, but would that really be your intention if you trade him? ;) Anyway, to answer your question, yes, I guess, but, actually, you never mentioned JUST DROPPING HIM! A VERY viable option! [smiley=yes.gif] [smiley=tonguin.gif] If you want... if it will take away the sting, you can trade him to me for Terry Glenn and we can drop each of them, respectively.
