Title: Got one for ya Post by FourTwoOh on Dec 12th, 2002, 5:35pm Maddox vs Carolina or Bulger vs Arizona Running backs are pretty thin Portis every week, Antowain Smith, most likely. Could use Tony Fisher in a flex. wr set with Price and Burress. Flex consideration to Mason and Koren. Also have Patten, Porter, Crowell, but don't see using those three. Convince me if you can :) te will be jolley unless someone makes a heck of a case for ernie conwell. [smiley=thumbsdown.gif] k is always Mort, even though I carry Akers as well. Only option really is Jacksonville at def. There nothing special, but I haven't talked myself into picking up the chiefs to start against Denver. so qb help and flex help please. Title: Re: Got one for ya Post by paulinstl on Dec 12th, 2002, 8:06pm I really wonder about Maddox having a hangover from his poor performance last week. Of course he could go the other way and have a killer game. Bulger will be playing behind a make shift O-line and may be without Faulk. However, and there is usually a however, the way he played earlier in the year, even without Pace, makes one think he could put up monster numbers against a Cardinal defense which can't put any heat on QBs. You already have Burress in your lineup, so you will benefit from Maddox having a good game. I think I'd go for the whole shooting match and start Bulger. Take into consideration the possible "homer" influence. Good luck this week. I'd like to see the team I made the trade with advance. [smiley=smileythumbsup.gif] |

Title: Re: Got one for ya Post by FourTwoOh on Dec 12th, 2002, 9:24pm I've flip flopped a couple of times already this week. I really do like Bulger's past #'s and against the Cards, it seems realistic. And I really don't want to open any recent wounds there paul, :saltshaker: ;D , but St Louis looked bad bad. Only Chicago out badded the Rams last week. Have they quit? Martz insinuated as much. Certainly looked possible. Any local take on that side of the story? Will they go out there to win on Sunday? I'd like to think so, but, this batch of Rams have pretty much never been out of it. Certainly not this early. I'll admit, that angle scares me. |

Title: Re: Got one for ya Post by Walker_Boh on Dec 12th, 2002, 10:27pm Bulger has been the lone [smiley=sunny.gif] spot for St. Louis this season and I look for him to pick up where he left off against a pathetic Arizona squad.[smiley=lickinmychops.gif] Not sure what you mean by "flex" ??? but assuming you start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 PK and 1 D, I'd stick with your current lineup. Good luck. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] |

Title: Re: Got one for ya Post by Razzak on Dec 13th, 2002, 1:23am Bulger was ok without Faulk before. He should be ok with 1/2 faulk now. |

Title: Re: Got one for ya Post by Philly on Dec 13th, 2002, 8:58am I'd go with Akers over Mort... but then again, I do have a bias. [smiley=hellyeafunny.gif] Go with Bulger at QB and KRob at Flex. (I think Ahman Green is going to get the call this week over Fisher.) |

Title: Re: Got one for ya Post by Jetdoc on Dec 13th, 2002, 4:29pm Bulger and Mason, most definitely. KRob is tempting, but if Hasslebeck is gimpy, he doesn't sound like he's going to be a good option this week. |

Title: Re: Got one for ya Post by FourTwoOh on Dec 13th, 2002, 5:08pm Thanks guys. You've swung, for good, this weeks qb question. Barring something completely unexpected, [smiley=drummer.gif], Bulger, Portis, A Smith, Peerless, Plaxico, Mason, Jolley, Mort{knee news and all, I just can't sit my home boy in the rarefied air of Denver, I just can't}, Jax. [smiley=cheers.gif] & [smiley=bonghit.gif] |

Title: Re: Got one for ya Post by ColaSteeler on Dec 14th, 2002, 11:05pm I would switch Mort out, especially if you have Akers. With Husted signing, if Mort misses even on an PAT, he will prob. get yanked. That is if they even risk him. Akers is also a top kicker, so I wouldn't risk it. I would use Mason in the flex. |

Title: Re: Got one for ya Post by FourTwoOh on Dec 15th, 2002, 11:29am I did put Akers in. Damn, I wanted that Mort/mortal enemy match-up. H'e's apparently been kicking with the bum knee for a few weeks. Frickin' better safe than sorry. I'll just have to try my best to still enjoy the Chiefs victory. Probaably won't be a problem ;D |

Thanks man. The "Burress already" angle was the determiner there. Muchos gracias. Pretty sure you already know I feel this way, but there is no way your team should be playin where it is. I'm not gonna sell my 10 game win streak superbowl champion playin' self short, but that was one fine squad you had. |

Title: Re: Got one for ya Post by paulinstl on Dec 18th, 2002, 7:17am In FF this year, unlike real life, I shot my wad too early. No way can Mr. A. win the Super Bowl with a team that's .500. Kick some ass this week. |
