Title: Re: SUPERBOWL LINEUP ???? Post by Philly on Dec 20th, 2002, 9:20am I agree with everything you've done - for the most part... I think I'd start Griese over Brooks. My take on the Broncos-Raiders game is that it will be a race to see who can score 40 the fastest. With that much scoring, the QB has to be involved. I know it must have been hard to sit Plax, but against the Bucs it is a good idea. The Bucs will have a VERY hard time scoring against the Steelers, especially if Shaun King is the QB. Because of this, the Buc D will have to take their game to another level. |

I agree with Philly here. The one definite change I would make is Griese in and Brooks out. [smiley=yes.gif] I also agree that it must have been difficult to sit Burress. If I were you, I might reconsider this. [smiley=hmmmm.gif] Three weeks ago I benched Joe Horn because he was going up against the Bucs. BURNED ME BAD! [smiley=fumin.gif] Lost my game because of that decision. [smiley=annoyed.gif] I would (re)consider pulling Gardner for Burress. Carolina is kind of a sneaky-good defense. [smiley=sneaky.gif] They "break" often because their offense often puts them in difficult situations, but they don't "bend" a whole lot. ??? It's the truth, though! [smiley=alcoholic.gif] Good luck, at any rate! [smiley=jammaster.gif] |

Title: Re: SUPERBOWL LINEUP ???? Post by Walker_Boh on Dec 20th, 2002, 1:55pm QB - Griese... In their first matchup, he threw for just under 300 yards and the team moved the ball well but kept coming up short.:( His bad pass in the Red Zone was HUGE and I look for him to turn the tides this time. He's been playing very well since returning from injury and seems to have his fire back. I like what I see.[smiley=yes.gif] RB - Taylor & Alexander[smiley=yes.gif] WR - Taylor & Gardner/Streets... I have a feeling that Streets is going to have a big week. Owens will most likely sit and Streets will step it up against a pathetic Arizona squad. Of course, Gardner is playing at home against Houston.:-/ TE - ... Shockey[smiley=yes.gif] Good luck[smiley=thumbsup.gif] |

Title: Re: SUPERBOWL LINEUP ???? Post by FourTwoOh on Dec 20th, 2002, 4:08pm I think Brooks completing the game last week should give you a clear conscience to give him the start. Right now, the forecast for Cin on Sun is 40's. Not bad |
